Hey PH! Meet Lunacy, a friendly UI/UX design tool. With all the must-haves of a professional graphic app (auto layout, components, real-time collaboration, prototyping, etc.), Lunacy is packed with unique AI-powered features you won’t find anywhere else. These features will automate your routine actions and save you hours and days of life. Designers should focus on the actual design goals, not on recoloring grey rectangles or rounding corners. What’s so friendly about Lunacy? 🌞 Lunacy is not a jail for your projects. It natively works with the .sketch format and can easily import files from Figma. Yep, we finally made it! 🎉 Currently, it is the fastest and the most accurate figma-to-sketch converter available. And simple: copy a link to your Figma file and press Ctrl+V anywhere in Lunacy. 🏡 If you have experience with Sketch or Figma, you’ll feel right at home in Lunacy. 🙌 Lunacy works on Windows, macOS, and even Linux. Being a designer is about design, not having a Mac, right? 🦸 It lets you choose whether to work in the cloud or keep it all private on your computer. In the latter case, it won’t even complain if you don’t have an internet connection. 🏄 Perfect for digital nomads: you can work even with crappy Wi-Fi or totally offline. Regardless of wherever you are, designing offline, with no distractions, hmm… sometimes it is exactly what a designer needs. 🚑 If you need graphics for your designs, Lunacy has got you covered. 1,500,000+ curated graphics: icons, illustrations, and photos are at your disposal. 🖼️ Need to remove background from an image or enhance low-quality pictures? Don’t go anywhere. Just press the button, and carry on with the more important things. 🎨 New to design or feel uncertain when matching colors? Lunacy will auto-color your shapes for you depending on their size and background. You can change main, accent, background, and text colors any time or generate a new palette in 1 click. 🌎 Lunacy has friends all over the world. Thanks to them, Lunacy’s interface is translated in 24 languages, including Spanish, Chinese, Hebrew, and more. What else? Users love and trust Lunacy. It shines brightly with an average rating of ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.8 on both app stores. Lunacy is free. Both for personal and commercial use. If you want built-in graphics in high-res or SVG, or prefer more freedom in the cloud, you can opt for a subscription.

@visualpharm This looks great Ivan. I like the ability to manipulate images like removing the background and other AI functionality you added.
Ivan Braun
@csaba_kissi Thanks, Csaba! It's all about getting things done where you need them, not wasting time looking for various tools for multiple tasks.

Great job! I really enjoyed all of Icons8's projects. Congratulations on the launch of Lunacy! I'm planning to test it out today. I did come across a minor issue on the landing page for the Arabic language. The title seems to be incorrect. If you need any assistance, feel free to let me know or you can use Google Translate. Wishing you the best of luck!
Ivan Braun
@alosefer, I don't think we support Arabic on our landing page. Are you sure it's not your browser's translation? The application supports Arabic though.
Yaser Alosefer
@visualpharm I've attached the image from the landing page. The one in the top right corner has incorrect characters, and the word 'Persian' is written from left to right, not Arabic.
Luba Zee
@visualpharm @alosefer Thank you, Yaser! Great find; we'll fix it asap.
Luba Zee
@visualpharm @alosefer Yaser, which one is correct to use there عربي or عرب ? I'd appreciate your help 🙏
Yaser Alosefer
@luba_zee Hi Luba! It's great to see you fixing it so quickly. Well done! The correct version should be the first one "عربي" Good luck!

Es una herramienta extraordinaria. Nada qué enviarle a otras alternativas más conocidas y de pago. Vale la pena que la prueben y verifiquen personalmente si lo que digo es cierto o no.

When I open Figma on my old laptop, I beg it to make it 🥲 With Lunacy, I can exhale. Thank you, guys 🫶
Luba Zee
@alena_b When we say Lunacy works even on potato laptops, we mean THIS. Great to hear that you can get things done thanks to Lunacy 🫶

Figma import is great news :) I’ve been on the fence about moving over my work to Lunacy mostly because I couldn’t properly import my designs. From the first try, it works wonders! The autolayouts, components, and styles all seem intact. And editing my designs is so much faster with your AI features - avatars and auto placeholder texts especially. Thank you. P.S. It’s kind of unusual working without the opportunity to integrate plugins. Any change you’ll add them sometime soon?
Luba Zee
@eriott Thanks, and welcome on board! We put plugins on hold quite a while ago, but... never say 'never,' right?

Haha, the video is super cool! Wishing you all the best with the launch❤️

Hi! On behalf of the Lunacy dev team, I’m thrilled to introduce our two biggest updates ever: auto layout and import from Figma. Both are super useful for designers and both are super tough for developers. And the toughest part was that one had no sense without the other. So here it is. New Lunacy with a batch of long-awaited and some mind-blowing features: • Auto layout. We had literally tons of requests for it. It takes the design process in Lunacy to a new level, as it helps build, adjust, and iterate designs times faster than before. • Import from Figma. The best in the game. Preserving the inner structure of files: components, auto layouts, overrides, and other tricky things. • Arc tool for drawing all sorts of pacmans, doughnuts, or serious stuff, like diagrams and dashboards. • Auto z-index. Spares you from the need to move layers to the back or front. Imagine that you draw or drag a bigger layer over a smaller one. In most cases, you will then send it to the back using the context menu or shortcuts. Lunacy will do it automatically, saving you a few clicks or pressing keys. You can still use the Send to back/Send to front commands, but you will need them way less often. • Smart layer tree. Remember the recent epic thread on layer naming? Lunacy solves the problem from another angle. You don’t have to waste time and rack your brains with proper naming. Need to quickly find a layer? With our smart layer tree, you can simply hide all unnecessary layers and leave only those that you currently see on the screen. • Enhanced support for RTL languages and BiDi support. And as a cherry on top — it's the only design app with interface mirroring and full support of right-to-left languages like Hebrew and Arabic. There are lots of other great things that we’ve added since our last launch on PH. I can go on and on, but you’d better check out what people say about Lunacy on app stores. “As if Figma and Canva had a baby”. That’s one of my favorites. And I'd like to give a big shoutout to our community for their incredible support and feedback 💙 You all help us build a better and friendlier design tool!

Great tool with great collection of icons and UI kits inside. Recommend!
Tino Zhabinskiy

@zzzhabinskiy Thanks, Tino! 💙

The native apps for Windows, Mac, and Linux ensure that Lunacy is accessible to all, irrespective of their operating system. That's a great solution for distributed teams with different habits and preferences!
Luba Zee
@gobak Indeed! No matter which OS or hardware you use once you are a professional and part of a team. And it's the software that should adapt to humans' needs not vice versa, right?
Albert Kinng
This is free? like full working version free? or take a peek free and pay to use later free?
Markus Novikov
@albert_kinng it's essentially free, you pay only for premium features like access to assets, AI-tools and cloud documents.
Alexander Shatalin
Go ahead, guys! And Good Luck!
Luba Zee
@alexander_shatalin Thanks, Alexander! 🥳

Just tried to import a project from Figma and it really works. Not perfect, but way better and than the other tools I tried earlier.
Michael Gold
This is my go-to tool for working with SVGs. Really slick that you can import from fFgma and sketch as well.
