@giordanoand Good to hear! The concept is spreading in several cities, so there's definitely a market for it - you can find us in Copenhagen and London and soon New York :-)
@mia_grosen@fzf@bulleitandcoke Yes to both of these cities. They're the ones where I need it most frequently.
Glad to hear that NYC is coming within the year. Hopefully there's a similar timeline for SF!
Great idea for a service, incredibly useful when staying at an AirBnB as there is no Hotel Reception to leave your luggage with. With the volume of leads they would have it wouldn't surprise me if this was a space that AirBnB makes a play in.
Luggage Hero looks good but this is also the same concept as Nanny Bag which is live in more European Cities right now -

@joefarish Hi Joe, and thanks for your feedback. A lot of our customers have been recommended our service from Airbnb hosts, so you couldn't be more right.
I know NannyBag and think they're doing an amazing job. It only shows that there's definitely a market for a service like this!
@andreasfruth Exactly ;-) And at the same time you can grab a coffee or lunch if you choose one of our cafes as your storage place - we even have a whiskey store as a partner shop! Check it out app.luggagehero.com ;-)
Booked immediately for an upcoming stay in London. Superb idea, especially where in London where "Excess Baggage" (found in all the major train stations) charges much more than that.
Would be great if you could integrate this with Gophr.com - As much as I would love to leave my luggage somewhere, the pain is then having to go back to get it. (@sebrobert)
@sebrobert@nilefrater Thanks for your feedback - transport of luggage is definitely something we're looking into! Until then, we're aiming to get so many locations as possible (50 in Copenhagen and 60 in London so far), so there's always a convenient place nearby :-)
Amazing concept, amazing execution in copy and design. It's been a while since I've seen a service that is so obvious. Looking forward to using this someday!
@klavr Hi Tom, thank you for your kind words - always motivating to hear that other people like what we do! Feel free to reach out to me for a promo code if you need to store your bags in London or Copenhagen :-)
Great idea. Please start this in other cities. As someone who travels frequently lugging around a big suitcase is a very pertinent problem.
Get in touch if you're looking to expand to Gibraltar.
@entrepreneurish Hi James, thank you for your question. Security is something that we take very seriously. First of all you can't make a booking without registering with your fill ID and payment card. Based on this we do a full background check of all users before they leave their bags. Secondly, all shop owners/staff have the right to ask what's in the bags and to ask the traveler to open their bag to confirm. We're proud to say that we have stored more than 6500 bags by now and have not had as much as a stolen luggage tag or a broken zipper. Please reach out if you have more questions! - Mia
@entrepreneurish@mia_grosen I don't think this is good enough security though. And sorry but numbers in this case have no meaning. You could store 100000 bags and not have a single problem, but if the 100001 bag explodes you are doomed. Great idea though. I hope you can fix this security problem, with a clever technology integration.
@entrepreneurish I don't see a higher security risk than when a bag is somewhere stored in a corner and the "terrorist" is leaving. In most cases somebody will tell the owner about the "lost" bag, he'll keep it and wait for the customer to call or will hand it to the lost and found. Would be sad if the first thought would be "oh this might be a bomb".
I think people nowadays really tend do exaggerate the risk of terrorist attacks..
