On top of Lovable's chat based AI app builder, you can now easily edit sizes, colors, content, and other stylings of any element on the page with a Figma-like experience. This feature is in early access. Enable it in Account settings > Labs > Visual edits

Hey PH community! 👋 Anton here, creator of Lovable

We've received lots of feedback that people love the speed of AI, but crave the control over granular changes that design tools offer.

We've fixed this.

Introducing Visual Edits to Lovable.

What's new?✨

Changes to your Lovable projects could previously be made through prompting our AI, or committing code changes directly to Github.

Now, you can directly change text or components in the app interface. Edits there are instant and do not require a prompt to Lovable.

How to activate & use Visual Edits in Lovable:
1. Activate the feature in your account by going into your "Account Settings" --> Labs, and activate it.

2. In the editor, you will then see a new button called "Edit" in the prompt box
3. Click "Edit" and select the element you want to change

4. Edit the element with any of our controls - or by applying custom Tailwind classes

Whether you are a designer, a developer, or have another background -- We think that this is the first step towards an entirely new way of building software.

This is of course just the beginning and we're already envisioning countless additions to the MVP. Would love your feedback & hear what you'd love to see added!

Been following Lovable since day one - loving this Figma-style editing feature! Quick wishlist: style presets for quick formatting and an undo/redo timeline would be chef's kiss ✨

Lovable has taken a big step toward being simpler and more user-friendly. Really looking forward to its future development. Congrats!

does Lovable Visual Edits support collaborative editing in real-time, similar to Figma or Webflow?

@hamza_afzal_butt
Great question! Collaboration on Lovable is not live yet, but once it is you'll of course use visual edits on shared projects as well. We're still working out how to make that flow super smooth.

I think that in just a few releases from now I’m going to buy 10 seats for my team! Such an amazing platform! I was initially leaning towards Cursor, but what you are doing is insane.

Hey Anton, I truly love the idea of building an app in seconds! As a busy entrepreneur, I don't have time to deal with complicated coding.

Being able to build a lovable app using only a chat interface would save me so much time and hassle. Thanks for making it happen!

congrats on the launch! 🎉
It’s great that you’re bridging the gap between quick AI-driven changes and more detailed, hands-on tweaks. The ability to instantly adjust text or components without any extra prompts is a big time-saver, especially when fine-tuning design elements.
