Howdy. I’m thrilled to show everyone in the Product Hunt community our new mobile application, Losant Go. I’m Charlie, CEO and Co-founder of Losant.
Since launching our IoT platform several months ago we’ve been hard at work continuing to make building applications easier. Losant Go is a step in the right direction to simplifying the process of integrating numerous devices together. Combining the power of this new application with our workflow engine makes it easy to build complex solutions. We’ve written up a couple examples to demonstrate the capabilities, https://www.losant.com/blog/how-... and https://www.losant.com/blog/cont....
Myself and the rest of the team are excited for everyone to download and play with the application.
@jeffrey_wyman great question! The mobile app is for sure going to relate more to hobbyists and individual developers, however our IoT platform targets corporate developers as well. It offers simplicity and ease of use, yet it's robust and secure enough to handle the complex applications you'd find in an industrial context.
@jenlooper spot on! Really helped us be able to build it quickly. The @nativescript developer community was a huge help too. And we were able to create both an iOS and Android app without sacrificing performance. We're huge fans! 👍❤😊
Reading over the comments from Liza and Todd, it's accurate to say that I share their 'fledgling coder' status. I love the idea that I can on ramp into IoT via your #LosantGo workflow. Congrats and I can't wait to dive deeper.
@avrliza Basically no coding skills are required. In the platform there's a robust no code workflow engine that can be used. Some technical knowledge is useful though.
@avrliza Great question Liza. To add perspective to Charlie's comment - I have been able to build projects w our platform and Go app and I have no coding training or skill. Though I'm pretty good at copying & pasting code! ☺
