Congrats on your Launch! I really like the localised aspect of Loquis, it will allow for personalization experience, but how do one can ensure accuracy?
@andreas_sohns great question! Thr radius of your story pool around a given location is dynamically adjusted based on the density of story in a specific area!
This looks cool!
As someone with one of my many projects being a content learning platform, this could be something we would use.
Congratz on the launch 🚀
I remember seeing another app like this where you can share stories on a road trip. I think this is what I want when I go visit. I often look at cool buildings, but can barely learn any history from it unless I really look for it. Such a great concept if it's used in travelling, but also could be a great product just for locals to share their stories, memories about their cities (I've seen tons of FB groups sharing old photos, why not old stories!).
Congrats @loquistheborg and team on the launch!
Congrats in the launch! This is a cool product, it actually can be used not only for audio tours, but also to aid people who need help or information in unknown places. Upvoted!
@semanser I think with most startups trying to to do heavy lifting with large amount of data (& metadata) within resource constraints is the biggest challenge.
Love this! I have many fond memories of learning new things at museums with audio guides - with this! Travel would be such a new and exciting experience 🙌🏻
Interesting concept. On a trip right now, might try it out. If you don't mind the feedback, I had some clunky loading with the landing page and it took me a bit to know what's it is all about. Think you might benefit from giving it a few touches.
Best of luck!
@patrick_lamar_martin thank you so much for the feedback.Do you think it might be easier to digest if we started tallking about the developer program first then the embeddable map? thanks so much
@pier_ludovico_bancale Thank you pier, TBH there are so much stuff we want to build, but we are still a small team. That's why we think the API program is a good way to get alot more ideas to market ❤️
Loquis sounds like a game-changer for developers looking to enhance user engagement through location-based audio stories. Building immersive audio tours or integrating storytelling into apps could really transform user experiences. Excited to see how developers will creatively leverage this platform to bring locations to life with stories.
Very cool idea.
The usual issue is that oftentimes it just does not cover enough ground or just sticked to the tourist places. A cool edge would be if it could generate some "local" information (in tone as well), less Wikipedia
@yaniv_ben_hemo1 thanks Yaniv thank you for awesome feedback and you are absolutely right. our conversge is strongest in Europe since we started in italy. But we are bringing on new creators and content partners everyday and not coverage will significantly increase by next year.
@memphys_sk we have small creators to large brands using loquis to create content daily and also anyone can create content so our stories are growing fast.. i think we are projected for 1.5m loquis by next year.
@nabeel_amir hi nabeel that’s a great idea to publish the case stories. We have many from Trenitalia to lonely planet. Will work on this with the team!
Hey @loquistheborg, this sounds super exciting! I'm really impressed with how you've doubled your audience and revenues this year. It’s awesome to see Loquis becoming such a key player in audio storytelling! 🎉
Your examples for developers are spot on! Embedding audio stories could really enhance experiences for travelers and brands alike. Keep up the amazing work! Can’t wait to see what people create with Loquis!
@blankwebdev we found that while some developers prefers APIS to access the stories a lot of publishers rather have widgets because they are easier and faster to deploy. Thanks for you support!
