Logger makes developing complex shortcuts a breeze. ⠀ Log text or images to the console & see them appear in realtime, as your shortcut runs. ⠀ Drill down into the output and filter by search, content type, category, date, device or even custom tags.

@mralexhay did you make your promo video yourself?

@mattahorton hey Matt, yeah it’s just a few clips made with the Rotato app stitched together!

Thanks @chrismessina for the hunt! As a heavy user of Apple's no-code automation platform, Shortcuts, I've always found the development process can get a bit clunky when building more complex workflows. 🤖 To troubleshoot problems or see what was going on at each step you'd have to put a Quick Look or Alert action which stops the shortcut running and feels slow and awkward. Missing the traditional console found in other development platforms I set out to build my own, modern solution, designed specifically for Shortcuts... This is Logger! ⚡️ It lets you see the output of any actions - text or images - in realtime as your shortcut runs and lets you filter by the type of output (like errors, warnings, success or info messages). It makes it easier (and more fun?) to build shortcuts with more than a few actions and syncs between all of your devices. One of the automation kings, Federico Viticci, wrote a great review if you want to learn more: https://www.macstories.net/revie... Shout if you have any questions ✌🏻
