The app is a hyperlocal Q&A platform that also offers the necessary infrastructure for small businesses and freelancers to list services and experiences and for locals and visitors to quickly find the nugget of information/service they are looking for.

I know that most people here probably know what Quora is, but even I as a Quora user was a little confused about what parts of it specifically you're referring to when you say a "Hyperlocal Quora". Just some marketing feedback :)

@christopher_lee4 thanks for the feedback. Will surely tweak that a bit in my next "pitch", marketing speak. Referring to Quora seemed appropriate to explain the idea to early adopters/initial target audience since Quora grew to become almost interchangeable with collecting knowledge in a Q&A format. By "Hyperlocal Quora", I meant the Q&A part that focuses mainly on collecting the local nuggets of information that are hard to find elsewhere (the long tail of the knowledge distribution). The other part of the app is what will hopefully help me keep the Q&A feed ad-free and consists of local marketplaces of services, experiences and guides (contributed by city bloggers). Hope that explains a little more.

@nizargrira Makes a ton of sense now that you explained it. Now condense that and put that on the front page! :) By the way seeing as you just launched I have a market research service where for $12 you can ask 100 people a question then follow-up based on how they answered and even interview them! https://scoops.io/ You could ask e.g. "Would you want a Q&A service with all the businesses you frequent in a 5 mile radius around you?" Anyway If you want to give it a shot feel free to sign up and let me know which email you used over Intercom and I'll pass you $12 in free credits. Best of luck otherwise!

Hi Product Hunters! Local is something I dreamed up for a while and finally brought to life. Two things I've noticed: search is increasingly local and less generic, local economies should be more thriving but most freelancers and small businesses lack the necessary infrastructure to reach their target audiences and deal with online booking and payments. This app/platform is my effort to bridge the gap I've seen over and over whenever I travel or have an intricate question about something in my own city! More details and background can be found in my latest blog posts accessible from https://opendoo.rs Appreciate any candid feedback!

@minifury rather a PWA (progressive web app) in the making. Hoping it will have near native feel on Android devices.
