We were somewhere between no-man lands and nowhere with our outreach approach.
I knew G for already a couple of years but never dig into his product.
End 2020, my CEO asks me to put a process and tools to support our commercial activities.
G2 is where you start, and you get in less than two days massive outreach from many many suppliers.
Some of them I had a f*** good story, pitch, and approach. But all failed on the most important to us: Where is the data hosted?
Lemlist was the only one with a European infrastructure.
But that is not all. I ask G, but as any good CEohe referred me to one of his teammate Simon.
The process went like this.
Simon call me; we fix an introduction meeting the day after with ten reps., Simon talks value, shares tips from his prospection and other gems. 48h later, we are starting our learning.
Six months later 15 seats, open rate >45, many demos, and most important sales (but that one I keep ti for me)

@alexd yes It is a good product but they are cheating early adopters from Appsumo
@alexd true! I bought 1 LTD code from AppSumo and after a while I changed my e-mail and lost my account. I did not understand. The field to change email was enabled, so I figured I could change the email. It seems that society's problem is exactly that. People are addicted to transferring her problem to you, like the magician who steals your attention with three balls. It doesn't make sense to delete LTD accounts that changed the email without prior notice or presentation of alternatives to keep the account active, as I was one of the first to invest in Lemlist. The bottleneck should not be the responsibility of the sumolings. The email enabled field issue should be resolved by Lemlist. I would like to get my money back, which I didn't #deleteSCAMph

The only regret I have in life is not buying Lemlist on Appsumo back in 2018 :D Jokes aside, I've used many, many different cold email tools and this is by far my favorite!
Let me tell you the truth about this app and its founders.
1) the upvotes are incentivised. I am not sure how to report this to producthunt but this is surely unethical and it goes against every spirit of what producthunt is all about. I hope PH can declare that all the upvotes are illegitimate.
2) the early adopters were thrown under the bus. He said he "listened" to 40,000 users to improve his platform. We are his early adopters, we used his app, we gave suggestions but he just threw all of us under the bus. There is huge unhappiness among lifetime holders about his decision to throw all of us under the bus. To put this into context, mailshake (1000x better platform) upgraded its early adopters to a higher more expensive plan for free. FOR FREE! now mailshake surely knows how to treat early adopters with respect.
3) the owner would randomly nuke accounts of early adopters right after email has been changed. Lots of unhappiness obviously, but he doesn't give a shit.
4) docsify, docsify, docsify, man where do I begin?!
5) if you believe that all these upvotes signify the moral integrity of this company, I urge you to think twice about it. The upvotes are illegitimate based on incentives and the founder has a history of being unethical and being ungrateful.

@guillaume_moubeche1 is not only incentivizing upvotes, but also nuked my lemlist account. They are slowly turning into a domain player and are showing their true colors.
@blackpantherabu I hope that one day the Blockchain will delete people from the internet who don't keep their word. My LTD account was also deleted without refund. AppSumo and Lemliste said my account was deleted because I changed the email. I do not understand. If I can't change the email, why is the field enabled? I know what the "delete your account" button means. I didn't sell my account either. They should ask me for the purchase invoice in AppSumo. They didn't ask and stopped responding to my emails because they knew they would have to activate my account or refund my money. Lemlist play dirty, like these bought votes. I hope ProductHunt doesn't turn a blind eye like AppSumo and does something to stop these unethical actions of Lemlist founder in the SaaS Community
@blackpantherabu Lemlist joins a sad but growing list of untrustworthy companies that go out of their way to screw early supporters.
These guys had no problem asking for money when their product was pre-beta garbage. Money that we, the people that invest in lifetime deals in early startups gladly handed over as we believed in the long-term viability of the project.
We paid for the unpolished product, gave real world feedback, identified and helped them fix bugs; basically got them to the point where they're now. You'd think our contribution would be valued? Most startups yes but unfortunately, not here.
Now that Lemlist seems to be doing well, Guillaume is generously rewarding us early adopters for our trust and support by tying us to an orphaned plan which is the lifetime equivalent of getting the middle finger.
If you're looking at Lemlist as potential customer, why would you want to support an unscrupulous founder when there are other solutions that offer similar features without having an untrustworthy team behind it.
@blackpantherabu Absolutely spot on. Shitting on those who gave you a leg up is NOT cool. What would the cost have been to give the LTD buyers a life time account on the new platform and have them carry on promoting your brand? More than the negative publicity here, which, arguably cost you product of the day? Seriously!
I've been using Lemlist since the beginning and I cannot recommend it enough! Keeps getting better with each release. Love the new interface.
