Awesome to see this out there, @loic. I remember when we first spoke about Leaders nearly two years ago. It's evolved quite a bit since then, built to solve a real hole in the industry for both speakers and organizers. Here's my profile. 😊 I'm curious what you decided on the monetization / business model?

As both a conference organizer and a speaker, I know the space has a TON of challenges. It's not transparent, there's little efficiency, it's hard for newer voices to rise up so you end up with the same people at every event. Can't wait to see the positive impact Leaders will have on the space.

Pros:

Cons:

New platform so will likely be room for improvement

Are all speakers paid or will some speak for free (or in return for travel costs etc). Would be cool to filter that kind of info ahead of the invite @loic (I run a 1000+ startup person conference in Sweden but since tickets are free we struggle with large speaker fees, so normally pay for travel/hotels for overseas guests which tends to work quite a bit of the time)

Everyone's looking for a niche to excel in. I bet @loic found his this time. All the very best for building a great new business Loic!

Great work @loic and the Leade.rs team! When it comes to events, I think simple is good. Too often platforms in this space become bloated to address every organizer's/speaker's use case. I love the Leade.rs profile video from the speakers. This will certainly be a breath of fresh air for everyone involved 🙂

I, for one want all events to raise the bar for speakers, and the main barrier to that is access. This is a great way to accomplish that, and a great starting point to build a next-gen professional events platform.

It'd be awesome if I could see the events where these speakers are giving talks at and booking tickets right from Leade.rs would be an added bonus 💯

I'm impressed by this first release. As an event organizer myself, I know how painful it is to find relevant speakers, confirm their participation and collect feedback from their experience. What was a niche market some years ago is now becoming mainstream as everyone wants to be a speaker nowadays. This is a fantastic opportunity for @loic and his team to transform the event industry for the better. Can't wait to see it happen!
