Been using Lavender for the past few months and it's been incredible to see the growth from a product standpoint. This team really understands the future of the inbox, it's a great combination of all things that help you write a great email.
@waitrewindthat Christopher, wow! Thank you for these words. I remember in college I thought about what the future of email would look like, and how it would be so hard to be the company to reinvent it. Fast forward and that's what we're trying to do! You get it!
@waitrewindthat I know how in depth you go with tech. This holds a lot of weight with out team. Thank you for the kind words. I know you get it more than most. <3
@shanegeldbach Hey! Appreciate you testing it out. If you ever need a helping human hand, email any email you're stuck on to team @trylavender.com and we'll have a revision back in about 15 minutes. The AI should handle most issues though =)
I've been using Lavender for a couple of months now. It's new. It's useful. It works. And it keeps getting better. We live in a world where getting your message right the very first time means more than ever. Lavender has helped me improve the engagement I get in regular newsletters and in personal correspondence. The product gives me instant feedback on how likely the message I craft is likely to get seen, get read, and get acted upon. Since it uses machine learning, the results just keep getting better. Lots of tools are working in the 'communications improvement' space. I like Lavender's trajectory because it's all about making meaningful connections with others, not spamming or manipulating them. This is a tool I plan to use for a long time.
@mikewittenstein Mike! Thanks so much for sharing some #LavenderLove! As you said we are pushing the team to keep releasing new features and integrations rapidly. In the coming weeks we'll be intertwined even deeper into the sales stack with some integration announcements. Appreciate it!
@mikewittenstein Wow, thanks Mike! One thing that we view as key to our product is the awareness factor.
A lot of people just aren't aware of writing mistake or a unintentional tone. It's not just about doing it for you (we do that) it's about making you a better writer in the process.
Love this plugin, I know I am writing a solid email every-time. Been using it for a while. I don't use this for every email I send, but for sales conversations and critical emails I consider this product a MUST. It helps me feel the same kind of confidence as when I use Grammarly.
@sharpey You bring up an awesome point with Grammarly. We view ourselves as a multiplier of Grammarly. Appreciate that you've been a continued supporter with us.
Lavender has been extremely useful in crafting emails. I've been following @will_allred and @mballance since Lavender was in alpha. The latest version looks fantastic! Get this plugin now!
@will_allred@mballance@michael_sengbusch1 Michael! Thanks so much. You've definitely been around for every update since the earliest days! Thanks for the ongoing feedback and continued use!
I love what Lavender is doing. I don't write a lot of cold emails, so when I do, it's incredibly helpful to have a neutral third-party to give me feedback (especially when I don't know the recipient). The founding team is constantly pushing out new features, and they are incredibly responsive for both technical questions, as well as for advice on what might make the email better.
And, on top of all of that, it's 9 bucks. I don't think I have anything else in my tech stack that delivers close to as much value for that price point.
@ejaffe Wow Ed! That last line. Delivering maximum value at an affordable price (or even in our free tier!)
As for advice, if you're ever stuck on an email and want us to revise it for you...that's part of Lavender. Just email it to team@trylavender.com - we'll typically have a human-revised email to you in 15 mis or so.
This is seriously one of my very favorite things that I've been using. Drop what you're doing and check this out, your emails and their recipients will thank you for it!
@amy_volas Amy! Always so appreciative of your support and being a user of our product. To rank it among your favorite things is seriously so rewarding to hear. Thank you! ππ
@amy_volas Amy! Thank you so much for all of your continued support! We appreciate you coming out to support us more than words can express. Thursday night sales is a weekly religion at this point, and I can't wait for the Ugly Sweater party this week! It's going to be such a wonderful celebration of the truly amazing community that you and Scott have built. Thanks again. ππ
?makers I was really excited to use this but oddly after setting up and adding trial credit card, go to click 'Outlook' and opens free version, since i use the web-based Outlook for Business I assumed it would work... but it just redirects to the free Outlook and oddly created an outlook account from my logged in personal Microsoft account (which I did not log in and give permissions to when starting). I have tried forcing it to open in web outlook even with the ?lv=true tag (similar to the link to free outlook) and started this whole process by signing in via Microsoft account. Maybe someone can shed some light on their experience with Outlook web? Additionally I'm using the latest version of Edge Chromium (and will. try in Chrome). Thanks in advance.
@ridgeway Hey Ridge! I'm sorry you're having issue here. Honestly the context is super helpful for engineering. I've send them a screenshot. We will absolutely get this figured out. Do you mind emailing me at will.allred@trylavender.com to trouble shoot?
π Hey Hunters!
I'm Will, one of the founders at Lavender alongside @will_allred + @casey_corvino.
We're excited to introduce what we've been working on this year: a pivot we made as a result of COVID.
We thought we could help remote-first workers send more effective, emotionally intelligent emails using some of the writing tech we had been building for marketers.
Over the past several months that initial goal as evolved into an entire ecosystem of tools and a broader mission of building the most useful email assistant available.
Now more than ever people are spending more time in their inbox. We want to help make the email experience more pleasant for both the sender and the recipient.
Lavender helps you send better emails faster.
Thoughtful, high EQ, emails that are considerate of the reader.
It's a browser extension that works with GSuite and Outlook 365, and is equal parts writing and productivity assistant.
It analyzes your writing and coaches you in real time, then leverages GPT-3 to help make it more impactful.
Lavender's unique combination of tools work together to augment your email abilities.
Instead of bouncing around to different tools, we want to keep you in your inbox and in your flow state with:
β Automatic Email Address Verification
π€ Rapport-building social insights on your recipient and their company
π Real-time email analysis and coaching
π ° An email score for your chance of getting a positive reply
π Tone, sentiment, formality, and best-practices check
π« Highlighting problematic sentences
π ββοΈ Checks to make sure you won't land in spam
π€ One click corrections to make your email more confident and concise
π₯° Subject Line Analysis
π± Mobile Preview + Editor
π₯³ Easy-Insert GIFs with emotion analysis
β° Open Awareness
π¬ Analysis and suggestions on how to respond to inbound emails
Our early users find using Lavender makes their emails more effective and mobile optimized. They're getting higher open rates, more replies, and ultimately booking more meetings and forming better relationships.
They're calling it their "secret weapon", "useful from the first email", "the most fun" they've had writing emails, and a "fire" product that they "love".
See why with your first two months free when you sign up for Lavender Unlimited. Just enter PRODUCTHUNT during your onboarding.
We're excited to get your feedback!
To kick things off we're hosting a virtual launch party on Twitch starting at 9am PST. Join us for a live DJ playing some music to kickoff your work day at https://lounge.trylavender.com
@will_allred@casey_corvino@mballance@ni_e_sha I sent you an email but want to also follow up here. Somehow the promo code didn't save for you, but it's fixed now and the free months have been added to your account.
