G'day world, For years now I've been obsessed with music. I'm rarely not listening to it and I'm always searching for more. My passion for music has also extended to sharing it to the extent my friends would get annoyed for spamming them with it. It'd get lost in chat messages and they wouldn't always listen to it. To solve that I figured I could build a platform dedicated for finding and sharing music. It'd make finding people with the same music taste and sharing tunes super easy, including features such as: * A real-time chatroom * Channels for different genres and topics (e.g #420, #rainy-day, #sad) * Notifications * Recursive threads of people recommending music to each other * Ability to subscribe to channels and users to build your own music feed * Seamless integration with platforms people already use (e.g Spotify syncing) To test the idea I've set up a Slack room instead of building something custom. If it goes well I'll be adding more features and potentially building a custom platform to replace Slack.
