This extension has been so helpful! Iโm a marketing content writer but have been working on UX copy for our website and product at Andela. I love this app!
Would be cool if it could handle web apps, so I could modify sensitive information before sending screenshots to people outside the company
Hi @edita! such an interesting idea. If the app live in your browser, then Polish can handle it! But, you bring an interesting use-case of blurring/obfuscating sensitive text. I'm interested to hear more - would you mind dropping me an email? polishwebapp@gmail.com
@polishapp unfortunately didn't work with our live app. Also this user case would need some extra security proof, as it can read "sensitive" and non-public data. I don't think there's much more to it. Mainly if tools have names, addresses, prices, cc codes and you need to send someone a screenshot of some functionality, you don't want them to see it (of course). I would't say it's about blurring, more about changing to "fake" names, etc., because you still want the screenshot to look nice and blurring messes that up.
