Lake Como Ties — Local production, 100% silk ties for better dressing people

A project of 3 Italian friends from a small town Como. They sell high quality 100% Como silk ties produced by local producers. Learning of the day: 85% of all the silk produced in Italy, and 70% of all Europe's silk is from Como. It takes 100 cocoons to weave one silk tie. Some of the big designer names rely on Como’s silk houses, like Yves St Laurent, Karl Lagerfield, Chanel, Armani, Hermes, Ferre, Valentino, Versace and Ungaro.
