“Knight's Graph” is an intellectual puzzle game based on the classic knight tour problem, known since the 18th century. Your task is to move the chess knight across the board, so that each square is visited exactly once.
Turning a Childhood Memory Into a Product: Knight's Graph – My Puzzle Game
I wanted to share my journey of building Knight’s Graph, a puzzle game app inspired by the classic Knight’s Tour problem. It’s been a rewarding experience, and I’d love to hear your thoughts or advice as I navigate the next steps for this project.
The Backstory
The idea for Knight’s Graph came from a childhood memory: when I was in high school, my dad showed me how to play Knight Tour on a piece of paper. It was a fun way to challenge my logic and strategy skills. Many years later, I decided to bring this puzzle into the digital age as a mobile app.
About Knight's Graph
The game is based on the Knight’s Tour problem, a mathematical challenge with roots in the 18th century. The task: move a chess knight across the board so that each square is visited exactly once. It’s deceptively simple yet endlessly challenging, making it a great mental workout.
The app is already available for download: App Store / Google Play.
