I went to business school with Greg (CEO) and I cannot say enough good things about him and KeyMe. The initial idea that started it all was that Greg's girlfriend got locked out of her apartment in NYC. It was a rip-off and hassle to get a locksmith to come. KeyMe was born right then. They were tooling their initial prototype out of a literally abandoned meeting room at the school. Greg dropped out of business school after the first year to run the company full time and also got one of the initial engineers to drop out as well. He's an amazing hustler and the product is fantastic.

I used it this weekend to scan keys in SF and have them printed in NYC!!!! The future!!!
