Hi I have built an open-source status page system. The inspiration came when my company wanted to have a public status page and all the good options out there were paid. I also felt it is too simple of a software to be paid for. So, here is my attempt on something that is open-source. It has all the basic functionalities that you would need to tell your customers about your services, or you can use it internally also.
