I like the idea of this app. I'd like to see prioritization as a key feature, since we all know "multi-tasking" is in fact the worst things for productivity, but there's a big culture shift that needs to happen before "mono-tasking" is acceptable terminology in the workplace, or even in my personal life!
Fariza
@monicarmiller Thanks for your feedback, will definitely think of ways to prioritize goals and tasks 👍🏻

May I have this application in Android?
Fariza
@sudhakarannadur Thanks for your interest, currently we don't have an Android version, but we are planning to have one 😉 how would you feel about web version as well?
Fariza
@boxingclever Thanks for your enthusiasm ☺ If you want you could subscribe to our updates on irisdesk.io to stay in touch and be notified when Android version, or web will be available 👍🏻

The UI required so many touches that my iPhone is actually going to start thinking I'm in love with it. I'm so sorry I don't have anything approving of this app (as far as my experience goes). Not a Personal Assistant. Not a goal/task manager. An event logger. Perhaps in Beta?
Samat Zhumabayev
@lyondhur Thanks for your feedback. Definitely our UX needs few improvements that we are going to reveal in the future. We're working on cutting down number of touches. We consider our product as a Goal/Task manager and we would like to know in more details why exactly do you think it's not?

I definitely think there's room for an application that actually helps people advance themselves towards achieving a goal, but Iris doesn't hit the mark for me. To put it plainly, this is Asana with a confusing UX. Additionally, I don't see how this qualifies as an "assistant" as @Lyondhur said. Best of luck in finding your stride - and I hope you guys get a ton of great feedback and see this live up to its potential!
Fariza
@cameron_baraban @Lyondhur Thanks for sharing your thoughts! We have updated our app and added few UI improvements, feel free to update and give us some feedback. 😉

removed as meant to post to web version

Hey! That's sooo cool! Once you divide all of your tasks into small sections, it becomes much easier to monitor what's been done and improves time management as well! I'm in love, well done! ;)

@alimbetova298 Thanks we're happy you're liking it ☺ If you have any suggestions please contact our support on irisdesk.io

Do we have this app on android as well?
Fariza
@surbhi_singla Hi! ☺Right now we don't have one, it's in the future. I assume you'd prefer it on Android better?
Kaben Clauson
Fariza, I like it. Mantra is a unique idea that's useful. I'd think about having a longer walk through process to make first time users create a goal. Hand holding may help here. Best of luck.
Fariza Zhumat
@kbclauson Hi, Kaben. Thanks for your feedback, we are already working on improving a tutorial for the first time users ☺️
Hadi Farnoud
how can this work for something like quite smoking?
Fariza
@hadifarnoud Hey! Always remember why do you want to quit smoking? Knowing why you want to quit is an important step in the process of quitting. You can add your reasons to your goal's mantra, to keep them in mind. Then think of a little things that will lead you to your goal, divide your goal to small sections and add simple everyday tasks...eventually, one step at a time, you will achieve your results and Iris will be here to show you your progress. :) We always try to listen to our users and improve our product, so if you have any suggestions, feel free to reply or ask more questions! ;)
Hadi Farnoud
@fariza_ I think Iris is not well designed for negative goals such as quitting something. the workflow would be different.
