These guys auto-tweeted half of producthunt asking for upvotes. I pointed out that that's not smart, then they blocked me. What a first impression! Also shaking my head because of the product they're working on: "We're trying to make professional networking smarter and less noisy".

Hi @stef We did not auto tweet anyone. I personally and manually reached out to less than 100 people, many of which I've had exchanges with in the past. We also never asked for a single upvote, only invited people to check us out and join the conversation.

@stef Thanks for the feedback. I can see how it looked like auto tweeting. The team did actually try to research those they selected to reach out. Some of them are even users of our first two products, IntroNet Connector and IntroNet for Groups. The "smarter and less noisy" comes from our tech. Examples like this are why we built it. If a new product (or other information) was of interest to some and not others, the machine would have learned that and only shared it with select members. Hence, less noise.

@mkrupit okay fair enough. All I saw was a bunch of identical tweets and I get that a lot. I'm not going to scroll through to see the magnitude of that before making up my mind that that's Twitterspam. Sounds interesting but Tyler's pretty grumpy so I'll leave it there.

We're trying to make professional networking smarter and less noisy. IntroNet Open Network uses AI and real relationship data to connect you with the people who can answer that question, help you nail that new project, and accelerate your career. It uses your email - privately - to determine your connections and relationship strengths. These are not made public, and we never contact anyone without your express permission. Check out my recent conversion to networking more openly: https://medium.com/@mkrupit/im-c... .
