How can I spread my launch?
Product Hunt is amazing, and I am happy that I found this platform.
I just released my first free and open source project (called "Transgram", a Telegram Chat widget for websites!) today, and I can't wait to share it with the world. However I have to wait another 7 days ;-)
What is the most effective way to spread the news on Product Hunt (and/or other platforms)? How can I encourage other people to upvote the project, and raise awareness for its existence?
What actions on this platform will propagate my profile to others? Obviously, creating or participating in discussions. How about upvoting, will this show my name to the authors of the upvoted posts (/launches)?
I am very interested in your strategies and workflows. Thank you in advance, and as well thank you for being part of such an innovative community! \o/

If you have an existing community (Twitter, newsletter, etc) definitely leverage them if you can to sign up for the "notify me" of your launch
Besides that if you want to get more of a following here it doesn't hurt to start now when it comes to providing value to the community (e.g. giving other founders feedback, responding to others' posts, etc)
