Promote, build community, provide value, and you'll be surprised how things shake out for your launch.
We launch for the first time on Monday, so i've been using that framework as of late

There is no way for PH community members who visit your website to know that you just launched your product on PH if you don't tell them. Don't ask for votes, but let people know you are there, and it's their choice if they upvote or not.
It usually helps a lot to have a great product. But also building a follower base on Product Hunt might help
