Instant is a frictionless 1-click checkout for WooCommerce stores, built to increase sales for online sellers. 1st time users fill out a short form at checkout; returning users get 1-click checkout on any Instant enabled store.
Hey everyone 👋,
Taus from Gaze here. We are super excited to share our frustration with online checkout with you 😫
Long & complicated checkout forms, mandatory profile registration, passwords, a maze of page redirects, friction, friction, friction—all to make **ONE** purchase. Why?!
We decided to tackle this frustration like a true maker 😎 & built a frictionless one-click checkout for online stores—presenting Instant Checkout ⚡️
Highlights 📸
- First time users of Instant Checkout fill out a short form — 4 fields (email, name, payment & address) — at checkout & whoosh 💨
- Returning users click to checkout on ANY Instant-enabled store — no typing necessary; just click & cli.. Sorry, just one click. ⚡️
- Just wanna buy one product? No need to add to cart & navigate through a maze of webpages to checkout — we built Instant Purchase so you can skip all that and buy a product directly from the product page with a click 😉
- Each transaction is cryptographically signed by your trusted device (so either the device you've entered the payment details on OR a device you've verified to be yours via passwordless auth) 🔒
- Currently integrates with Stripe & WooCommerce — we look forward to launching new integrations with different e-commerce platforms & payment gateways in the future. 🤝
Enough talk — wanna try it out? Go to https://demo.getinstant.co/ and fake-purchase a product with this fake credit card—[ 💳 4242 4242 4242 4242, Expiry: 04/24, CVV: 424, Postal Code: 42424 ] and any valid US/Canada shipping address.
That's it — we look forward to hearing from you & will be here to answer any questions you have. You can always reach out to me via email too: t@gaze.ai
* We have a sweeeet deal for the Product Hunt community (hint: save $$ on credit card processing fees 😉), valid till 15 May; just email hello@gaze.ai with subject "Go Instant Now: PH Deal" & we'll get you set up
Cheers 🥂
@gaze@gazeattaus Congrats on the launch. I use Shopify's quick checkout whenever it's available, but it doesn't have one-click purchasing and there are tons of non-shopify stores. I'm excited to try this one out.
What's your strategy for acquiring customers?
We’re currently focusing on direct sales, affiliate marketing partnerships & email/content marketing—for now we’ll be doubling down on the WooCommerce ecosystem specifically. In the coming months, as we add more integrations, that will change.
@gaze@gazeattaus@tylerswartz
There are a couple of avenues that we are taking. As mentioned by Taus, direct sales is a big component of our sales strategy. However, we are also pushing towards content marketing as well, such as blogs, short form videos, and ect.
On the macro level, we are currently focusing on developing the woocommerce market. If you have any good and interesting ideas, please feel free to reply and start a discussion :D would love to hear your inputs
The existence of Fast/Bolt/Stripe CO/Square Pay/ShopPay is validation to how big the problem really is. That being said—our focus is on building the best checkout experience out there that integrates with all gateways and platforms. We believe that the checkout experience needs to be improved and standardized for the whole Internet—and that will only happen if we can be agnostic to both e-commerce platforms and payment gateways.
@vcbackedsloth Our team is a big differentiator. The majority of our team are composed of engineers and product oriented people. That means we really take a big focus on building a fully functional product. As you can see through a simple search, we have a small team at Gaze. We have continuously iterated through products at a very quick pace to find product market fit. Even if other players have been around longer, we were able to catch up in less time with far less funding. We have many other ideas on our road map. Stay tuned to see what we can come up with!
@martineo14 We've actually been operating in stealth for months too and our demo store's been up most of this year as well — great to see instantcheckout.io too! Thanks for sharing
@vcbackedsloth Oh hi there, seems like you double posted the exact same question that we answered previously. In any case, I'll also like to add that it also depends on the business region that we would like to target and gain dominance in. The world is a big place ! Appreciate the feedback though!
@digitalrafeu We currently only support the 44 countries that Stripe supports — in the future, we will be adding integrations with other gateways, in which case this would be a possibility. Do stay in touch, and we'll be sure to let you know!
I just created a Product Hunt account to comment. Awesome job guys, but the name seems overly similar to an Australian brand I came across recently on LinkedIn called Instant. Their website is www.instantcheckout.com.au?? Maybe try a different name when you launch
@codycodycody The website you shared still says coming soon — probably why we hadn't thought of a overlap there. In any case — maybe we can partner with them in the future 😉
@fahimalwasi hey there! Great question. We currently support 44 countries, the same one that stripe supports. So if you are using stripe, we are most likely able to accommodate you.
Which country are you currently operating in?
@rubenwolff Exactly! We found that a lot of companies invest so much into marketing to get the customer into the sight just to see them walk away without paying due to complicated checkout processes. Using instant solves this problem!
We actually did launch and rollout https://instantcheckout.io/ a few months back - demo at https://demo.instantcheckout.io/ - a bit weird to see the same thing and name here but anyways the more 1 click checkouts the better for everyone :)
@stefano_fontolan Oh wow nice — congrats! We've been at it since last year — got the domain in 2020 and stealth launched early 2021. Interesting that we independently thought of the same name haha instantcheckout.io was actually one of the domains we thought of getting, but decided to go with getinstant.co instead
