Why would I spend $12.99 on this when I can use VLC (cross-platform) for free? VLC does the job.

Synchronization with Trakt is really nice. That's why I bought the app. But the interface is a mess (at least on an iPhone) when you watch both series episodes and movies. The covers are completely mixed, it's difficult to find the one that you want to watch now, and there is no obvious way to know which episode is the next one. Additionaly, you can watch your iTunes synced videos, but watched status is not synced, so if you use iTunes' "3 most recent not watched episodes" options, it will not work at all. It seems it's because of Apple, not Infuse, through.

Is there any extra advantage over the currently available free options like VLC? Also this advantage has to be really really good to pursue me to pay for a media player but I am curious if they have such a feature up their sleeves?
