@chrismessina Thanks Chris! We actually met briefly at Betaworks last year, I demo'd some early prototypes around art for you. Indeed we've talked about using blockchain as a proxy validation of the uniqueness of your "video print". One idea is that since the product has flash memory (inaccessible to end-user in today's version), we store both the source files as well as a hash or private key that references your piece on a specific blockchain. This could be read-only memory in the future. Also worth noting - Jake from Electric Objects is an Advisor :)

I have to say I'm confused as to what the novelty of this is. Digital photo frames have been around for close to ten years if I remember correctly. The only 'feature' this seems to add is that you can't change what's displayed, which doesn't help our growing e-waste problem.

This is the only response to this product. I was curious how this tech worked (how paired down essentially was this device) but there is no information on their site about how it works, plug type, power usage, specs, etc.... I suspect this is so that their customers do not catch on to what @kscarlett pointed out

@kayd_yonis1 We are considering this "marketplace" functionalilty. Similar to Society6 or Zazzle, but for video. Stay tuned, this could roll out second half of 2020!
