Congrats on the launch! Amazing tool to verify all concepts you might have for your SaaS pricing. Wish this existed earlier.
Laurids
@timolins thank you Timo!
Marcus
I'm getting an unexpected error every time. Something broken?
David Lauchenauer
Should work - on which browser are you trying to run it?
Craig Williams
Really useful product. Thanks for building. One question, are you assuming the plan prices are exclusive or inclusive of tax? I think inclusive... right?
David Lauchenauer
@ichillidesign Hey Craig. Yeah that's right, we've assumed that the plans are inclusive tax.
Craig Williams
@gmiadlich I know this is an old thread, but just to follow up - I used this as part of our business plan 🀯. Great stuff! Thanks again for creating.
David Lauchenauer
@ichillidesign Hey Craig! Doesn't matter that it's an old thread - hearing feedback like that is always amazing! Thanks for sharing & best of luck with your business.

David Lauchenauer
@rajat_kapoor Hey Rajat - Cheers, we're happy if this tool is helpful to you.
Gregory Bober
Love it. Wish there was more stuff like this for other types of business. e.g. I have a website with ads, what if I add another banner, what if I increase time spent on my website, decrease bounce rate, how would that affect my bottom line? What should I focus on? Hmmm...
David Lauchenauer
@gbobby Hey Greogory, thanks for the input - that's an interesting idea. I think this should be a seperate calculator, seems there are pretty much two different core usecases. Might be an interesting project in the future.
Md Salehin Khan

Hey Product Hunters :) We all know every Indiehacker has struggled with pricing. How can I know which pricing plan works the best? To get to know the ins & outs of pricing we've built a little freebie. It's a little calculator helping you easily experiment with different pricing models. How it works: 1) Compare different pricing models If I charge 30% more but my conversion rate drops will my revenue drop or grow? 2) Analyse the fees and profits of yearly vs monthly billing Could my product & customers benefit from a yearly plan? What's the financial impact? 3) Set yourself a goal & share it or get reminders Once you've figured out the right model for you we'll help you to keep yourself accountable. Set yourself a goal & we'll help you keep yourself accountable. Get a reminder of your goal or share it publicly. Besides that, we've added churn & taxes. Both of those as well as the payment fees have a default value reflecting the market average. These default values can be easily changed to fit your own situation. Which will help to paint a better picture of your actual earnings. Best luck on your product journey! πŸ₯³
Jim Raptis
@laurids this is genius and so handy! It helps founders like me set concrete goals (eg customers/month) to reach their milestones. Great work πŸ™Œ
Laurids
@draptis thanks for the kind words Jim!
Akshita Gupta
Really impressive app! Such a user friendly app for a complex problem. Many like me struggle to make pricing models; this app solves it! Love the feature where we can compare it to other models and analyze our business. Would love to try it.
David Lauchenauer
@guptaakshitaa Hey Akshita - great to hear you like it. It's totally free so you can go ahead and play around with it as much as you like! :)

Ashley Gwinnell
Love the "X new customers per month" and the account for churn. I'll be using this! Great work!
David Lauchenauer
@ashleygwinnell Hey Ashley, thank you very much. Would be interesting to see what goals you set when using it.
Pavel
Great idea! I’ve tried to configure my first plan and got β€œAn unexpected error has occurred.” when typing number of customers per month. Hope my report will help. Good luck!
David Lauchenauer
@samsara_team Hey Pavel, does that error still occur?
Pavel
Hi! Nope, still there. I’ve reproduced it with a video and sent you the link via β€œFeedback” form on the website. Please let me know if I need to send it somehow else. I opened the website from iPhone 8 and via Chrome browser.
Tobias Petry
That's really great! Played with some numbers and seeing these estimations is really nice. It would be nice to get an option for yearly paid plans only.
David Lauchenauer
@tpetry Hey Tobias - great idea. If you change the % of people using yearly plan to 100% it should basically be that.
Alexandre Botermans
Congrats! Will probably be helpful to a lot of founders.
David Lauchenauer
Thanks - That’s the goal!
Wiktor Traktor
Great, but lacks the ability to print / export to PDF / CSV / XML
David Lauchenauer
@wiktor_traktor80 Hey Wiktor, great input - might add that in the future.
