The idea is simple. We want people to give a chance to let out a secret and be a part of the community. Once they are a part of it, they get to hear dark secrets from all around the world every week.

Dark secrets with red lettering on black background screams erotic secrets, which I guess are usually very popular but if you are going to allow them to be sent out via email to subscribers you need a warning and possibly a permission option on subscription to allow that content to be sent. The issue I have is that those who don't want erotic confessions will not sign up, and those that do want it, may be disappointed and unsubscribe after a couple of days worth. And there are already lots of other confession sites going that are all struggling to some degree. If it were me, I would expand it into a full blown adult-only XXX version. Not only do I think it would be something people would use but can be profitable once you get a lot of users. But I would make some big changes to the way you are operating the site and include some additional features that I think would really make it stand out from the crowd. I know that is not the angle you are probably looking at right now, but if you are ever at a loss and considering wanting to go towards Adult, let me know.

So... I need to share a dark secret and sign it with my email? Not very tempting.

@michal thanks for the feedback.cheers!

@michal In our latest update, the sign-up database and secret database are separate. Thus eliminating any change of anyone getting to know your secret even when you sign up with your email ID. Hope that helps, thanks.

?makers Can you send me your dark secrets as an email?
Shivam K.
@ozgun_berber why don't you sign up using the website? :)

@ozgun_berber @shivam_adgeek The website still asks for your email when you submit a secret. If you want people to share secrets anonymously, then the secret submission shouldn't have any personal details attached, and th newsletter signup form should be independent from sharing anything. That said, this feels like a less fun version of PostSecret. And the emphasis on "dark" secrets might be nothing, but that wording is suggestive of material I don't want to know about.

@ozgun_berber @deejtulleken appreciate the feedback. completely agree that the signup form should be independent of the contact form. looking to incorporate this change in the next update.

So, do you have a secret you want to share?
