Free is a bit misleading. The paid options actually are $9 for 100 images per-month options and $99 for unlimited images if you want the background remover or upscaler. For an upscaler, Gigapixel AI https://www.topazlabs.com/gigapi... is similar quality and cheaper for unlimited photos than icons8’s cheapest annual plan. Or you can go with this completely free Mac app https://www.reddit.com/r/macapps... For a background remover on Mac, did you know that Mac can already do that for unlimited photos for free? https://9to5mac.com/2022/12/03/r... Icons8 already has 10 subscriptions on their pricing page. I don’t need another one, especially when there are better and even free alternatives. Don’t get me wrong, I’m usually a fan of your work on icons and the lunacy editor, but this is just getting a bit much.

@billy_bob2 Thanks for the thorough feedback! Pricing is always a subject of discussion, and I appreciate your input. We're keeping an eye on the market, so I can share some findings and thoughts. Choosing the right tool depends on what images you need to process, how many of them you have, and what's on these pics. GoProd is made for heavy users in the first place. For those who need to process lots of photos, to do it quickly and get production quality. So if we speak about Gigapixel, it works ok and has a one-time fee. But it's desktop software that runs on your computer, meaning you need decent hardware (there are system requirements for it) and keep an eye on updates since the maintenance is on the user. And GoProd doesn't have such limitations. You can install it on any laptop, log in and do business as usual. Free tools are free, but many of them utilize third-party models and even servers. And all of them I've seen have limited server capacities, meaning you would have to wait and wait and wait if you need to process many photos. It's ok if you need to remove backgrounds from a couple of pics. But it's not ok when you need to process hundreds of product photos.

@billy_bob2 As for the background remover on Mac, we know it's there, and I think it's great. Maybe less money for us soon, but more free tools for people! However, this remover is still raw; it's still training. Here are some samples of how it processes the images and how GoProd does that. You see that GoProd works even with tiny spaces between the leaves, and Mac remover keeps the background there intact This one is tough for most of the removers. You can see that both removers stumbled here. But at least GoProd didn't make a hole in a human ☺️

@billy_bob2 And about our pricing page that disappointed you 😟 We have too many products and plans, right? Here is our illustrations' pricing

@billy_bob2 Exactly what I was thinking. I used to be a customer for years until the number of subscriptions (and restrictions within them) became overwhelming. Eventually cancelled my subscription (switched to @iconscout ) a few months ago when it became a bit too much to track what's included in the plan and what isn't. The products are top notch but the pricing is a mess. I really think you should consider making an actual full-fledged plan (like Adobe CC).

A good tool to cut a routine, thanks guys! Have you thought about integrations with existing graphic apps as well? To reduce a routine of using diff apps? :)
Denis Danilov
@mujaji thanks, Kirill! Background Remover has integration with Figma. You can remove the background right inside the Figma files: https://www.figma.com/community/...

Hi guy's Have you thought about integration with existing graphic apps as.well?

Do i understand correctly, that this is Mac-Desktop-App for your Web-Services? Do you plan on making a Linux-Application as well? You have my sympathies for bringing a tool like Lunacy to Linux!
