I'm travelling to Japan in about 2 months, and my Japanese is horrific. Really having fun trying this out as DuoLingo just didn't gel well with me. It's very gamified! Good luck with the launch!

Looks good! I’m keen to try it and understand how the initial process to get my level will be. It’s being a few months trying different options but I’m already in a point that I don’t want to invest much time on the very basic lessons. This “from day one” approach seems really interesting.

I love how the customizable curriculum feature addresses the need for personalized learning paths. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into the user experience, especially with the pronunciation practice through speaking. I got excited but them saw it is just for ios :(

I tried this educational software and really liked the card-based design. It would be even better if the initial tutorial had a game-like dialogue feel. The grammar breakdowns are also quite good, but I found myself lacking the patience to continue. Maybe adding some gamified positive feedback would help.

Have you considered adding a feature that tracks and tests vocabulary retention? I think it would really complement the existing features and add more value for users.
