Hey everyone from Product Hunt 👋, Lau here! It surprised me how many people my age are looking for the next social network, I'm 21 and so it caught me off guard. What exactly? How bored I got by using Instagram and Snapchat. Hype is a Social Networking App made with Gen Z in mind. Simplicity. But also it pioneered autostatuses, a novel take on the timeline, and restricted you to 150 friends.

Congrats on the launch!! I'm always exited to see new apps specifically targeted at GenZ. Some questions... What's the difference between a friend and a follower? What can you customize on the profile? What's your killer feature?

@linden_thomas Hype differentiates between friends and followers, by allowing you to engage friends and not followers. You can customize your profile with colors, pictures and GIFs.

Hey Lau! Congrats on the launch. I noticed the UI on the login screen isn’t displaying properly for dark mode. Specifically the text fields for email and password. Edit* Also having issues with dark mode on the sign up view controller.
