Hey, great initiative! To what exact causes donations are going and which orgs have you partnered with?
@asby Thank you. We focus on global issues of the planet, such as climate change, plastic pollution, forest fires, deforestation, coral reef depletion, and so on.
Next, we form partnerships with local teams that take action on the ground and address these global problems.
Then, there are two options. A company can choose, when connecting to Humance Connect, which cause they would like to support. Alternatively, the company can give this choice to its customers, allowing them to select a global issue and team they want to support with their purchase during the payment process.
Congrats on the launch! Cool idea, stores interested to be more sustainable, give something back with every purchase, can easily implement this.
The UX, landing page and product however I feel can be a lot better. Can it just donate to the common, established and trusted funds? There is a wildfire in Canada now, so would be cool to be able to donate to trendy events happening in the world.
UX, I personally feel like receiving a separate email with my purchase is pushy, but I get that it's much harder for you to get every integrated company to adjust their existing emails. If you're donating 1% of your purchase, it can be cents, it's not worth for you to open that email even, at this point it promotes your service and pushes person to donate more.
I think if the person converted, the store is happy and person won't care about what exactly happened to that 1% but would still feel happy about it. As an idea, person could choose how much to donate on checkout/cart/PDP.
If you're targeting people in general, not customers of specific stores, it can even be an extension or a banking/stripe/shopify integration that will take extra from every purchase on every store, this way you could really see, over time, how your contribution helps. Can subscribe to follow on future updates with the project. I don't think a big % of the people checking out will be really interested to follow up.

congrats on the launch. We are helping immigrants and consumers in the US to build credit, I think this might be something we can add to the flow. The question is whether that is an additional CTA item and might take a longer time for users to finish the sign-up on our core product. wondering if you have more data to back the conversion rate increase, do you add that contribution afterward or before the core purchase? May you describe the advantages of your product compering to the existing alternatives?

Our product is unique because it allows people to track their project, feel engaged, and have complete control over the use of funds by the local team.
If you choose an alternative approach and simply donate a sum of money to a specific organization, you won't know where exactly those funds are being utilized. We have completely solved this problem.
Loved this when Stripe made it easy. So happy to see it available to more people through this product!
