I always wanted to visualize how much of the world I visited, now I can: the support different color palettes and social sharing to let everyone know how much you love traveling in your own way!

How much of the map have you covered, @levelsio?
Ross Currie
Needs ability to zoom so you can get a ccloser look. Also needs a count, perhaps with a % so you know how many countries you have left to go.
Samuele Dassatti
@rossdcurrie Those are among the features I'm planning for the next update, stay tuned!

This is something I always wanted when I was a teenager. Just filled it in and shred on Twitter. I think I need to do some more travelling.
Furkan Kadioglu
Georgia is in Europe and Turkey is in Asia category? 🤔😬
Samuele Dassatti
@furkankadioglu Thanks for the observation: the boundaries of continents vary a lot depending on who you ask, I chose these ones because they are the ones most people seem to agree on but I could change if I get enough feedback pointing to this

Great tool! How many people worked on it?
Samuele Dassatti
@new_user_11620223ff4de5436 it is a weekend project that I designed and developed myself
Steve Wagner
I am currently at 6 countries but this def motivates me to go to more!
Samuele Dassatti
Hi Steve, you should find Taiwan under the Asia section, let me know if you still can't see it!
Shunsuke Kasahara
Fun! So many more places for me to visit 😆
Petr Vácha
Cool. Add percentage and counts ;)

Chunking the US into one big country, and other regions same was a bit less interesting. Case in point clicking on Taiwan shows you visiting "China" - itself a huge place with 7 major languages and 56 different ethnicities. This works well as it gets more granular, like St. Maartin French vs Dutch. That said anyone who gets anything done in this world gets a gold star, so kudos to the team in any case.
Samuele Dassatti
@jonmmiles Thanks for the feedback, I was thinking about doing something similar but the main issues is to find a coherent way to decide which countries to split into smaller units
Jon Michael Miles
@samueledassatti I think the US 50 states, Russia major regions, China, and India same would get you a long way there. But like I said, this is great and anything else is gravy.

Can you save selections for future updates.
Samuele Dassatti
Selections are already saved on the user device. Do you mean that the selected countries should be synced across devices?

I love the mapping applications that are coming out, I've been playing with Felt by @laurenbaxter this week, and I love the speed and simplicity of this one. I must say that I would much rather have a custom link than the share buttons in the top right. ('Copy this link to share with your friends') It seems like it would be a quick add since data is all stored in the URL already. (I'm just a big hater of the Social media buttons due to terrible UX in the past.) Congrats on the launch!

I need to travel more. I love this! Kudos to the team!
Harsh Siriah
A pretty cool way to document your travels. Love the idea! Great job! Congratulations on the launch!
Anna Filou
Lovely! No accounts, information contained in the URL, multiple color schemes; perfect!
Ria Raul
Wooow , This is so cool !! Congrats on the launch
Abdullah Al Mallak
Great product, would love it if it's a proportion percentage of the world visited.
Sean
Awesome! Been looking for something like this.
Johan Steneros
Would be great if it has a counter as well.
Jasmina Stamenović
So cool! I like it!
