Create artistic AI QR codes that scan. Totally free to use! This is plugged into Hovercode, which is an advanced QR code generator so you get the extras like the ability to track scans and edit the scan destination.
After seeing some of the awesome AI QR codes people have been making, I had to get involved (about 6 people messaged me links to the AI QR reddit post that went viral - https://www.reddit.com/r/StableD...)
It's been fun learning my way around some of the new AI tools. There's so much open source stuff out there already, it's incredible!
This generator is pretty simple, but it lets you create some decent artistic QR codes that are scannable. The designs aren't quite as impressive as the ones from the original reddit post, but they are more reliably scannable.
Have a play with it and let me know what you think!
I had some old clients into food tech working with QR Code as a digital menu. That could be a real game changer fo them as they can really create some personnalisation according to the hotel brand, restaurant identity...
Well done love the product !
@nickyborry Thanks, Axel! It will be interesting to see if people start actually using these in real life vs playing it safe with a black and white code
@ramykhuffash Yes, you are right the challenge is here for the end user... But in a sense, people are already so used to checking menus on QR codes, so for a hotel or restaurant with a strong identity, that will be a great added value and reinforce the brand. Hotels and restaurants might be the best target for this product.
@ricardo_luz Great question!
I honestly don't fully understand how it works myself. I used a bunch of open source tools that enable you to generate images from prompts while taking into account a control image (ControlNets).
I spent ages tweaking various options with the Controlnet and the generation process so that the QR code was mostly kept intact. It was pretty much trial and error on my part. New models and controlnets are being released fairly regularly so will continue to try different models and settings, but I am prioritising the reliability of the QR codes over the impressive artwork for now. Hopefully with future updates, the artwork will get better while the QR codes still scan
