Love Louis' accent!
PS - How do I join the Facebook community?
Pros:Love the overall message and theme. A+ !
Cons:The first three episodes on the landing page are men. Get some women on there! Wait... now I see Kim Walsh on Episode 4 :)
This is a truly valuable podcast for the people who care about doing marketing or engineering growth or playing a role in advancing the project they're working on in a way that's human, empathy-driven and ethical.
With so many shortcuts, being able to create true value, without gimmicks, without tricks and using dark patterns is rare and sought-after.
I can't wait to listen to more episodes and put the wisdom in them to work! For me, they are truly useful and actionable.
Pros:Empathy-driven marketing
Cons:Nothing so far.
I've been following THSB here and on their Facebook group, and it's such a great idea - exploring how to use innovation in the service of humanity, rather than as purely a means to make more money. Or innovation for innovation's sake. It's more like, what are we putting out into the world, and what impact does that actually have? After listening to the first episode today, I'm not disappointed. Rand Fishkin is one of my favorite humans and an interview with him never disappoints. I just wish they'd had more time to go into more of Rand's story, but what they did cover was very interesting.
Pros:A very interesting take on how to improve tech, and how we live with it
Cons:First episode was shorter than I expected
Been listening to the first episodes and have enjoyed them a lot. Great guests and interesting honest talk about human-centred business growth.
Pros:Great content, interesting conversations, and much needed BS-free talk about growth and marketing online.
Cons:I'm not a fan of the music they use but that's a very minor complaint.
The first episode is so good - Rand Fishkin (one of my favorite people in tech) is the first interviewee, which is appropriate since his values of transparency and doing well by doing good are so aligned with what this show is about.
Pros:H2H (human to human)
Cons:To be 100% honest, none.
