I just integrated producthunt and Stripe. For the rest, there's Zapier :) Thinking of some cool ways I can use this. Quick and super simple setup. Good luck Mohit.
@jagan123 I, personally, love when I get notification from Stripe of successful transfers to our bank account every other day. What a feeling it is. :)
Notifications are always around us, but we always tend to miss out on important ones and usualt end us facing spam ones. A dedicated notification tool is what can overcome the limitations of using communication tools (emails and texts) as notification tool.
Thanks for building this.
Hi, I am Mohit - CEO, Horntell. I am happy to answer questions and take feedback.
I've recently written a Medium post on Everything about Horntell: https://medium.com/@mohitmamoria....
I see that there's a limit (data points) for notifications before upgrading to a paid plan. How many free notifications can I get before hitting the limit?
@esbvn Paid plan? We don't have any paid plan. As a business, you can push unlimited notifications for free. No limits. And as a receiver of notifications, you can receive unlimited notifications for free. :)
Hope this clarifies. By the way, may I know what confused you? So that we can improve the experience for next visitors. :)
@nishantradia Hey Rado.. Thanks. Let's take a use case for a imaginary product that provides Youtube analytics (*cough* Vidooly *cough*). A use case could be..
One of your user uploads a video to the Youtube, shares on various distribution mediums and goes to bed. Next day, on opening his browser, in the Horntell Me chrome extension, he would see a notification saying "If you add the following tags in your video, you'll get better search visibility: TAG1, TAG2, TAG3."
Now, the interesting part is: besides giving the information, you can also put buttons for each tag in the notification itself. The user reads the notification, clicks on the appropriate tags and BOOM. Done. The tags are applied to the video right from the notification itself.
Moral: User's time saved. Vidooly's service is used. :)
There's a couple of other notification aggregators out there, which makes me wonder -- will we ever see a notification centre for notification centres? Hmm...
(neat product! thanks for your work!)
@ryanjamurphy Excellent point. Yes, there are other aggregators out there too. The purpose of building this one is to drive the momentum of notifications as "Actionable Cards". According to us, that is the key piece in unleashing the power of notifications that provide full product experience right inside themselves. :)
The concept is really nice, now we can send push notification on the web also with some simple steps of integration using Horntell. Best of luck guys..:)
@ankit07dhawan Sure Ankit. It takes max 15 mins for businesses to integrate with Horntell. If you need a helping hand.. please feel free to drop me an email mohit@horntell.com. :) Thanks for the wishes.
@rahulr047 Haha. Yeah. Email notifications fill up almost all of our inbox. Isn't it? :) I hope you find it valuable. Also, feel free to send me any feedback you may have. :)
A single drawer for notifications from different apps. Never missing out on anything after this. No need to go to different apps for actionable events. Eagerly waiting for its android version which would wipe out my pain of downloading multiple apps in my phone.
@sahilsarpal Android App is what we have been working hard right now. Expect it to be released sometime around Christmas this year. :) I hope you like it too.
