Homer is an app for everything about your home and your household. Where everything is neatly ordered, safely stored, and accessible from anywhere.

I really like this! Support for multiple properties? Check. Share across multiple people? Check. Super relevant if you own rental properties, and digitizes stacks of paper manuals you almost never need, but when you do need them, they’re at your fingertips. The room photo feature for insurance purposes is key. Nice!

Interesting. I use Evernote for this currently but would definitely try this but… giving an app an inventory of what is in my home means giving them significant trust to handle my data with care, including a strong privacy policy. Unfortunately, the linked privacy policy is not in English and the footer link isn’t clickable at least via mobile. I’ll pass https://homer.co/sv/privacy/

This is such a great idea, unfortunately executed pretty poorly. The value proposition seems great: add your address, add stuff you own, we organise relevant information. Unfortunately it feels like a bloated app that has so many features, the basics are not highlighted well. Also, lots of bugs that should be obvious (adding a Living Room pulls up a help screen that talks about the Kitchen, etc.)

We are helping homeowners get their stuff organized. Your information will be available from anywhere. It's a clever home binder that updates itself: Add a TV and Homer adds the manual. Add a washing machine, and Homer locates the best repair shop.

Shame you've launched this in limited countries which means those of us who are excited for the product cant try it and will lose interest by the time it is released in the UK

Super cool. What kind of functionality are you going to offer to your partners?

Can't download this as it's only available in the US app store sadly.

Regional access brought to an international comm platform... Is this a matter of propagation or just a classical disregard of the fact US does not equal the entire World ?makers

@utestme talked to them over their support chat, more countries will be added apparently. However, they couldn’t elaborate on the reasons why they didn‘t launch internationally from day one. Since I can’t check the app out, it may be also be a legal issue with some features?
