After working closely with and helping build out HR for hundreds of early stage teams, the Homebrew team open sourced this guide for free with 50+ curated resources to help any startup hire, manage, and compensate world class employees.
Hey Product Hunt!
I’m Hunter and I’m excited to launch Homebrew’s 50+ HR Resources for Startups, from our Head of Talent Beth Scheer! This collection of insights, tools, templates, and other resources have been years in the making after advising and working with hundreds of early stage companies build out their HR from 0 → 1. A team cannot scale without the proper HR systems in place, therefore we wanted to open-source this collection to the public for free so anyone can easily build out their HR regardless of experience.
Take a look and let us know any feedback! These resources are meant to be dynamic so they will be updated and improved upon over time as well :) If you’re currently building out your team’s HR, would greatly appreciate your thoughts on this below!
@hunterwalk@trustinyoon1 Love this! If you end up adding any resources for expanding boards (perhaps in https://coda.io/@homebrew/divers...) would love for Him For Her to be included. Would be happy to partner/recommend other resources for boards/advisors. We find that oftentimes an HR lead might be partnering on this and not have experience sourcing.
@justin_hales thanks justin!! glad you found the calculator and guide useful in particular :) i heard someone really cool had worked on those a while ago
Great list here, Hunter! Happy to see Assembly represented here :)
If anyone has any workflow needs like 1:1s, daily agendas, team standups, employee recognition, pulse surveys, anonymous forms, and more — hit me up.
I’d be happy to walk you through how Assembly can fill critical gaps for your teams and HR!

@ericzhu105 Ooo that's awesome - I'd highly recommend the Hiring section of the guide that contains a couple templates for Best Practices for Remote Hiring and Guide to Sourcing Talent. Lmk what you think!
