Beyond session replay, Highlight now includes a suite of tools that allows users to monitor the performance of their web app and react to their respective issues quickly.
Howdy Product Hunters! π We've been working hard to build a better tool to analyze how your web app is performing. Our core product, Highlight, records web vitals for each user session, so you can understand the app performance for each session.
Now, with Frontend Monitoring, we add two powerful features to the core Highlight product: Web Vitals and Request Metrics.
With Web Vitals in Highlight, you can track the three primary web vitals (Largest Contentful Paint, First Input Delay, and Cumulative Layout Shift) directly in Highlight.
With Request Metrics, we take this functionality a step further. Starting today, users will also be able to set up custom dashboards to track the performance of network requests over time.
Highlight users will be able to track a variety of metrics related to the performance of their app front-end. Metrics include:
- HTTP method
- request size
- response size
- HTTP request status code
- request latency
β¦ and can be filtered based on the following attributes:
- initiator type
- URL
- GraphQL operation name
With Frontend Monitoring, we continue to expand to an entire suite of debugging tooling focused on helping teams find and fix issues faster. Some additional features on our roadmap include live session viewing, backend error monitoring, and much more!
Super excited for the Product Hunt community to take a look at what we're up to; please share feedback, questions, and comment on what you think!
