This product should use Wi-Fi. Bluetooth has a range of maybe 10-15 feet before audio starts to crackle and cut out. For example, I use a boosted Bluetooth transmitter in my apartment with a supposed range of 150 feet, but if I walk from my living room to my kitchen (a distance of around 10 feet) the Bluetooth audio on my headphones starts dropping. With Wi-Fi, that range can be much, much farther. Bluetooth is probably the most frustrating technology I've ever used in my entire life.
