👋 Hey, Product Hunters!
Stepan here, CEO & Co-Founder of Hexact.
We use dozens of websites daily for work, but the data these provide is usually gated.
If you want to save search results, products, potential leads, listings, or any structured data, you need to resort to manually copy-paste data. And let’s face it, who’s got time for this?
I’m excited to announce the beta launch of Hexofy, our super-smart browser extension to help you capture valuable data from LinkedIn, Twitter, Crunchbase, Reddit, and more.
Best of all, you’re just one click away from saving this data to Google Sheets, CSV format, or your clipboard.
Each week we will be adding support for more websites, and next month, we plan to launch a simple recipe builder right inside Hexofy, which will let you select fields you want to capture from websites we don’t yet support.
Hexofy makes tapping into your favorite websites effortlessly with just one click.
No tedious copy-pasting, complex software, or coding is required.
To celebrate the beta launch, we have a special early access promo for you - Don’t miss out.
Happy to answer any questions and suggestions you may have.
Am I the only one not being able to run this anywhere? can't seem to get it to work on PH, LinkedIn, Twitter 🤷♂️ (I use brave)
Hope you guys can have a look at it.
Congratulations, Hexofy team for launching on PH. 🙌
Hexofy is one of the simplest scraping tools out there. No tedious copy-pasting, complex software, or coding is required while using the extension.
Just downloaded the extension and tried on Linkedin searches but it says:
Oops looks like we can’t capture data from this page yet.
PS: Soon you will be able to create your own scraping recipes inside Hexofy.
I would happily pay $50 for such a tool btw.
@leverager thank you. i tested it now and it works amazing. I just signed up to the $49 package and it instantly became one of my favourite tools. it is BRILLIANT at collecting lists from searches. I have just built an amazing list of marketing directors in the UK in a matter of minutes
Congrats on the launch - this is a great tool! It looks like many in the comments can't tell what Hexofy is or what it does.
I watched your video here on product hunt before visiting your website, so I understand what your product does. If I didn't watch the video first, I wouldn't know what Hexofy does from the graphic in the hero section of your website.
The video above has good stuff but the GREAT content is around 30 seconds in - maybe a variation of that can go on your homepage's hero? Or maybe a short gif showing the tool in action?
Great work though, and best of luck to your team!
Congrats Hexofy team!
Having worked with multiple clients who need data scraping, it is amazing to see such a simple tool that will not only remove the dependancy of BD teams to data Engineers, but also help data teams focus on the key element : DATA.
Couple of feedbacks though
1. I don't mind paying for products, but it is very difficult to pay without trying it at least.
2. The pricing packages breakdown by pages isnt super clear. What is one page on Product Hunt for instance ?
Looking forward to testing it !
@majdi_rabia Thanks!
1/ You can download our chrome extension to try it out before buying (link is in the footer of our homepage)
2/ When you click the browser extension button say on product hunt, we will capture all the listings displayed on the page. This will count as one page captured.
Personal plan lets you capture 500 pages per month, unlimited & team are unlimited. Hope this helps.
@saslanyan Congratulations on the launch of Product Hund! I wish you all the best and believe it is an exciting product. May it bring remarkable success to you and your team!
Super promising tool from team which created my favorite scraping/automation tool " hexomatic".
Will the future "select fields you want to capture from websites we don’t yet support" also allow to simply copy *all* fields of structured data?
I personally think it's much easier and faster to copy by default all data and then delete, in Google sheets, the columns I don't need.
@torsten_p From April we will have a recipe builder, where you can click on an element and select this or all matching elements. For example selecting a product name in a list of products, you'll be able to capture all product names in one column, or a specific product name.
Once saved, next time you go to the same type of page of the website, you'll be able to capture in 1 click.
@huy_doan_quang I recommend checking our video demos. Hexofy is a super simple to use browser extension which provides 1-click access to data from some of the most popular websites we use daily, right into Google Sheets.
Hi! Just tried the extension. Always get: "Oops looks like we can’t capture data from this page yet."
Tried with Amazon and ProductHunt.
Is it me or there is an issue?
