Hello Product Hunt and thanks @5harath for the hunt 🙏! I’m beyond happy to finally show what we’ve been building the past 6 months to the community. Starting from scratch 6 months ago For those of you who were here in 2021, we had built a product to streamline note-taking and preparation in meetings. In September 2021, after YCombinator, we pivoted to a product more aligned with our initial vision: Building the calendar app that remote workers, and future of work, deserve. Fortunately, we were able to keep our outstanding community of beta-testers and we have built, from scratch, with them, the first version of Hera Calendar 👇 Organize, plan and protect your time — without leaving your calendar Hera Calendar is a MacOS Desktop app that you can use with any GSuite account. Within a clean and modern calendar app, we have embedded all the features you need to stay in control of your time: - Define some frequent activities (Sport / Focus Time / Inbox Zero ...) and drag and drop them in one click to plan & protect your day. Hera uses your activities to protect your time, for instance by suggesting better slots to people trying to schedule something with you at an inconvenient time. - Share your availabilities across timezones with a human-friendly message and a link to confirm - Schedule events faster than ever using plain english - One-click join the next meeting or tell attendees you’ll be 2 min late. If your weekly view feels overwhelming, just hold ⌥ to unclutter your calendar. I swear, it feels good. Built for remote workers and distributed teams We see a great fit with people that: - Need to mix personal and work stuff during the day - Need to coordinate across timezones - Need to partially open their calendar for other people to book meetings You don’t need anyone else to try Hera, but it gets even better when the rest of your team is on it as well. Over the next few months, we are adding more collaboration, like a space to tag a teammate underneath each calendar event, or instant scheduling between teammates. Free plan, forever Hera is entirely free for now, as we optimize for feedback in our Slack workspace. We will always have a generous free plan for individuals, and we will introduce a paid team mode later this year. If you are interested in doing a free pilot with us for the upcoming team mode, let us know! Jump today to shape the future of calendar management If you sign up, you’ll be invited to our biggest secret: a Slack Workspace where all our users are, send feedback, report bugs, shape features with us. Everyone signing up today will access the product within the week. @louise_bayssat and I will be here all day, feel free to shoot your questions!

Kapil Gadhire
@louise_bayssat Hahaha! Go for it! Now that you have launched Hera here, time to 'launch' both of you in a movie! 😎

I've been using Hera for the past few months and it's been lifechanging for me! That's the first time in more than 10 years that I'm not using Google Calendar in a tab anymore. Great features to schedule meetings, super cool UX, and the ability to take notes right in Hera is SO cool.
Bruno Vegreville
@simonrobic thanks for your kind words!! Super happy to have you in the community!

This is great!

@eluttine Thanks Elias!

I got to know Louise and Bruno from Hera's first launch eight months ago. Since then I absolutely love their hustle the way they pivoted and iterated the product in public while focusing on building a community. Today, I'm thrilled to introduce Hera Calendar to the Product Hunt community. Simply put, Hera Calendar is built fundamentally for people who work remotely. One feature I love the most is Hera removes the friction to figure timezones and shares our availability seamlessly. To me, that is a deal-breaker! If you work remotely or not, give Hera a try and let the founders know if you have any feedback!
Pramod Rao
Congratulations team! Have been using Hera as a beta user for the last few weeks. Apart from loving the product and using it regularly, it has been great to see them iterate on feedback and build it with their community.
Bruno Vegreville
@prao25 we're glad to have you! And thanks for building Threado, such a cool tool for community-driven companies like ours.
Galia
Congrats on the launch looks practical, can it be integrated with other calendar apps?
Bruno Vegreville
@galia1999 Hey! Thanks for the message. Right now we are using your GSuite account to log in so everything you do in Hera will be reflected in Google Calendar. It means basically no data lock-in (except for notes, that you can export to markdown in one click) as all your calendar events live in Google Calendar!
César Lacombe
Congrats on the launch! I'm using Hera since a long time and the product is really awesome :D Looking forward for the next big features!
Bruno Vegreville
@cesarl Thanks for the kind words César!

I've been beta-testing Hera for almost a year now, and have lived through the pivot. I've found : - a great product that keeps evolving every week (and sometimes twice a week) to adapt to its users' feedbacks - a great community that contributes and is really made part of the product's success - a great team that makes listening to users a reality, not just a "value" somewhere on the site I don't have a team so I can't help them on the next phase, but if you do, don't hesitate to join !
Bruno Vegreville
Haha thanks for the message @laura_bokobza. What people might not know is that you won the Beta tester of the year !!!! Thanks again for your continuous support 🙏
Laura Bokobza
@bruno_vegreville as a sparring partner for founders, I often use your development as a best practice for the CEO's I work with, the way you and @louise_bayssat have been managing this is incredible !
Connor Jewiss
Have been so excited to use Hera, so am jumping on this right away. It's downloading as we speak 😂 Such a fantastic way to organize the calendar. As you guys have said, Google Calendar looks almost identical to how it did 10 years ago, so it's about time the calendar got an update. Congrats in getting it launched, and wishing you every success!
Bruno Vegreville
@connorjewiss Thanks for the support Connor!

Good job 🚀🚀🚀
Louise Bayssat
@sbadaoui Thank you!!
Laurentiu Ciobanu
Looks nice! Do you plan a release for Windows/Linux too? What about mobile?
Bruno Vegreville
@laurentiu_ciobanu Thanks for your message! We will roll out a mobile version in Q2 this year! We use Electron to support our Desktop apps so that we can "easily" port to other OS. We will start with Windows most likely, around the end of the year 🙏
Pierre-Marie Mogenet
I've been using Hera Calendar from the very beginning. Apart from their amazing velocity to improve the overall experience, I am really impressed by Hera team's capacity to really make users part of the journey: they listen to every small or strong signal coming from us and shape the product accordingly. Congrats @louise_bayssat & @bruno_vegreville!
Louise Bayssat
@bruno_vegreville @pierre_marie_mogenet so grateful to have you part of Hera community 🙏
Pierre-Marie Mogenet
What makes Hera shine more than any other calendar, is the ability to ramp up from new to power user in a snap thanks to shortcuts, automations & smart features. Saving some time on top of time management 🔥
Louise Bayssat
@pierre_marie_mogenet I think we can say that you are a power user ahha
Deepa from True Sparrow
Congrats on the launch. Love the simplicity of the product. And it is commendable that you have built it in such less time. Good luck.
Bruno Vegreville
@shahdeepa Thanks for the kind words Deepa!

Hi @bruno_vegreville :) I was checking out who has launched beside us and Hera looks super cool! Congratulations for the launch!!1
Bruno Vegreville
@aashi_1994 Thanks mate! Fan of your product as well!! As a dev, I've lost years of life trying to implement auth right 😭
Matthieu de M
Hera is a great calendar app, making me save a lot of time thanks to its smart features and shortcuts Special mention to these features: in app notes and availability sharing. Also huge congrats to the team as the products in improving day in and day out!
Louise Bayssat
@matthieu_de_maulmin thank you so much for the kind words and support! truly grateful to have you part of Hera community :)
Viji D. Thomas
Alright, so I started using it because we had trouble finding time to coordinate with the team, and setting up quick meetings on the fly. This tool is so good, our entire research team switched to Hera within weeks. What's more impressive, is Hera team's pace of iteration. New useful features coming along, without disruption of the existing ones.
Bruno Vegreville
Thanks so much Viji! We're super glad to have you and your team in our community of beta testers. Even better if we can help you reclaim some time for your ground-breaking deep tech start-up 🤩
James de Wasseige
Hera enables me to organize my weeks/days with such a flow and in such a short time that it'd now be extremely frustrating to go back to my Google calendar ("Very disappointed" so they say). Congratulations to the whole team for their deep work in understanding their users' needs and for their continuous and impressive delivery! Looking forward to what's next in their pipe 👀
Bruno Vegreville
@james_de_wasseige Thanks for the kind words James, and for taking the time to shape with us many features!!
Dan Cleary
Congrats on the launch team! Make sure you check out Tether when you're QAing that onboarding flow next week:)
Bruno Vegreville
@dan__cleary Ohhh very nice, we need this actually -- I'll check!
Dan Cleary
@bruno_vegreville Cool! Feel free to try it out or reach out if you have any questions. Best of luck with the rest of the launch!

I've been testing Hera for a few weeks now and have totally embraced the tool for scheduling appointments. Super easy to use and with great options to fit all appointment needs.
