Interesting... also comes with bottle of scotch.

Would be cool as a WordPress plugin.

Love this. Wish it had a GDocs integration as well.

I use this tool daily. The issue I have is that it's a web app and I've lost writing from the app before. Especially when offline on flights.

@brackin Did you try the desktop version? (paid)

Cool! Autocorrect on steroids. I really appreciate the focus on helping make one's writing simpler but I'm curious the impact it has on one's style.

This is so much fun! Definitely want this as a plugin to environments where I normally write. If this automatically backs up in a reliable way, I'd switch out of Word and gDocs for my morning writing. I basically only use Word for the automatic word count anyway.

wish I found this earlier!

I really love Hemmingway for editing. I find myself being way too much a perfectionist if I try to write in it from scratch!

I love this app. I now use it for all my blog posts and some long emails. Helps me cut the crap and reduce those damn adverbs.

I'm a chronic abuser of semi-colons and m-dashes, and this app is turning my life around. Would love to see a Word integration for the REALLY long stuff, because right now I'm batch editing in Hemingway and then going back to Word so I can use the document map.

I still use and love Hemingway.

@natekontny built a "mode" in Draft (http://draftin.com) called Hemmingway. This is a lot different but would make a nice integration with Draft.
Greg Gilbert
It feels like the kind of features I was expecting from Writer Pro. I would love something like that in Draft!
Greg Gilbert
@imkialikethecar yes, that's a first step! But hemingway goes further (suggesting you simpler words, giving a reading grade to your text, etc). Although I'm definitely going to give this new Draft feature a try.

@gregoiregilbert ah yes, it's def offering more than Draft's! I just wanted to point out that Draft has added some version of this kind of writing help in case that update had gotten buried in your inbox :)

I would love a Chrome extension to use inside Gmail, or any site for that matter. Not only could this make us better communicators online but also help improve non-writers/bloggers writing.
