With video apps already made mainstream in social apps from Snapchat and Instagram to musical.ly, videos is making its way into enterprise uses as well. Helpful is the latest one I've seen and we've started testing it out at work. Instead of sending a 'thank you' email, why not send a quick video? Traveling for work and need to update your team on things? Shoot some videos instead. It sounds simple, but it surprisingly makes a much more personable feel. Interesting to see how this space grows.

As society becomes remote, I see this as a great way to keep the personal touch aspect that makes face-to-face communication so valuable, while still recognizing the challenges of availability and convenience necessary in today's society.

I've been using Helpful to communicate with my team on the important things that happen in the business so they get up to speed quick. It also gives a more human feel to a remote team sending messages over Slack or emails all day. It allows your team to feel close even though you might be far away. Love the service!

Helpful is incredible if you are running a remote team.

Hard to think of any.
