Hatch — The app that loves you back

Love the aesthetic. Admittedly, I haven't played it yet but always curious to see people from non-gaming backgrounds build games. Betaworks' Dots comes to mind.

tl;dr - the makers of clear (todolist app) reinvent the tomogatchi I've been using this for a few days now, and it's strangely compelling. I wish there was a bit more you could do in it, but it's so weird how I feel bad to delete the app or neglect my little pet friend
