I'm Sam Ryan, the founder of Habfun, and I’m thrilled to introduce it to you today! 🚀 We built Habfun because staying consistent with habits can be tough—but what if it felt like an exciting challenge instead of a chore? That’s exactly what Habfun does. What is Habfun? Habfun uses AI to transform your goals into fun, social challenges, keeping you engaged and accountable. Whether you want to build better habits, grow personally, or challenge friends, Habfun makes it easier and more motivating. Key Features ✅ AI-generated challenges – Personalized challenges based on your goals ✅ Social accountability – Compete with or support friends to stay on track ✅ Community-driven motivation – Join public or private challenges to push yourself ✅ Flexible structure – Rest days, milestones, and adaptable pacing Why We Built This I’ve always believed that personal growth is more powerful when shared. Too many habit apps focus solely on streaks and tracking—but real change happens when you’re inspired, challenged, and supported. With AI-driven challenges and a social-first approach, Habfun is designed to keep you engaged every step of the way. I’d love to hear your thoughts! What’s a challenge you’d love to see? Let’s chat in the comments! 💬 📱 Download on iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ha... Let’s turn goals into challenges—together. 🚀

Can it help generate social challenges for all aspects of life? I’m curious if it can create a “go to bed early” challenge 😂

Sam Ryan

@focusaur That’s a great idea! It could also prompt you to track how you feel right before bed and see the difference over time. Excited to see how it goes! 🚀😴

This is such a fresh take on habit tracking! 🎉 Turning goals into fun social challenges feels way more motivating than staring at another boring streak counter. Love the mix of AI-generated challenges and the social accountability angle — makes the whole process feel more human and dynamic.

Curious, does the AI adapt the challenges based on how someone progresses (like making things easier or harder depending on consistency)? And are the public challenges themed, like fitness, reading, or mindfulness? Would be super fun to jump into some themed community events.

Congrats on the launch, Sam — excited to see where Habfun goes from here! 💪🔥

Sam Ryan

@williamrobertscott Appreciate that! 🎉 We’re planning to add AI that not only suggests challenges but also adapts to each person as they use the app. It’s not in this version yet, but it’s something we’re excited to build. And yes, public challenges are broken down into categories like fitness, reading, and mindfulness, so there’s always something relevant to join. Thanks for the support! 🚀🔥

Always struggle with sticking to habits. Turning goals into social challenges sounds like a good way to add some accountability and fun, might try this with friends for my reading goal this year.

Sam Ryan

@zihui_zhan That’s awesome! Habfun is great for reading goals—I’ve actually been doing one with my friends too on the book Upstream by Dan Heath. Best tip: tell the AI to create really small steps at first to make it easy to get hooked. Excited for you to try it out! 🚀📚

💡 Bright idea

wow! I think this product is meaningful for ADHD people! It's really helpful! Congratulations!

Sam Ryan

@flytothemars163 I really appreciate that! Thanks for the support! 🚀

Charles

This is such a cool idea, Sam! You're right that most habit apps are all about streaks, but making it social and fun instead of just a solo grind - that’s a total game-changer. The AI challenges and community vibe feel like the missing piece in so many productivity type apps.

Super excited to see where this goes! 🔥 Have there been any unexpected or really creative ways people have used Habfun so far?

Sam Ryan

@the_original_charles_ryan Thanks so much! 🎉 That was exactly the goal—habit-building should be fun and social, not just a solo grind. Seeing people support and motivate each other has been incredible.

We’ve already seen some really creative uses! One group started a “daily doodle” challenge where they sketch something small each day, and another has been using it for language learning by posting voice recordings of new phrases they practice. It’s been awesome to watch people make it their own!

Appreciate the excitement! 🚀

George

Been using the beta for a while and love it, AI is integrated really well and it’s an easy to use interface. Really useful for staying on track with new goals!

Sam Ryan

@georgetheryan Thanks, George!

Kayla Ferria

This is really cool! I’ve been looking for a way to keep track of all of my goals in one spot. I haven’t found an app that isn’t strictly focused on one thing (so many are tied only to fitness) and this is exactly what I’ve been looking for! I also love how it allows you to customize your goals and steps to achieving it, while holding you accountable.

Congrats on the launch of Habfun! I can’t wait to start using it!

Peter John

Habfun is great! It’s a fun engaging way to form new habits and you might even make a few new friends along the way… check it out!

Sam Ryan

@peter_a Thanks, Pete!

Sharon Howarth

This is great. As someone who is nuerodivergent, setting goals and keeping them, along with social interactions can be a challenge in and of itself, but this really helps with focusing on both those things, and its fun! Great job! This is definitely a helpful app! Thanks !

Sam Ryan

@sharon_howarth Really appreciate that! We built Habfun to make goal-setting and social connection easier, so it’s great to hear this resonates.
