So excited for this launch today! Today we’re announcing new no-cost and low-cost benefits built for small businesses--and their employees. Gusto Wallet is the new free financial health app for employees paid with Gusto. Gusto Wallet includes Cash Accounts and Cashout, along with other paycheck tools. Cash Accounts earn 8X the national savings rate and enable employees to save from each and every paycheck, automatically. Employees can also get a tap-to-spend debit card. Cashout helps employees access cash between paydays when the unexpected hits, helping to avoid expensive feeds that can make a bad day worse. We’re in the process of rolling out these new products. So if you use Gusto, be sure to jump in and request access from your Benefits tab.

@tomerlondon how many employees who are paid via Gusto don't already have their own banking solution? Is this product simply enabled by managing companies' payroles? What happens if an employee leaves the company that's paying them through Gusto?

@tomerlondon @chrismessina From the FAQ: What happens if I leave my job? You can keep your Cash Accounts (i.e. your savings goals and spending account) or close them — it’s your money to do as you like. You’ll still have access to Gusto Wallet both in the app and in your Gusto account. And if you want paychecks from your next job to go to your spending account or savings goals, you can set that up too — just like a regular direct deposit.

Probably won't end up using it but I have to say, telling users what their expected taxes is going to be is a pretty sick feature

This is useful for new grads. But when you own a home and have a checking, savings, mortgage, HELOC, credit cards, loans, etc. with a single bank, its more convenient to stick with your bank for paychecks.
