Great idea, great concept.
But the dashboard is using #000000 black which is not the adequate for the eyes. Is simply too dark, and the text is #ffffff white, which is too bright....

Dang. They had so much personality and a distinct brand, now it looks like a bad rip of Figma's branding, with extra 2019 trend.
The copy is great but the design gets in the way of the message SO HARD. Do you want me to look at your illustrations or do you want me to sign up?

I’ve used Gumroad for years and love the new redesign. Looks great on the listings. Look forward to the branding continuing onto creator’s store/profile pages.
Question about the launch to ?makers. On the website it states "instead of starting with a book", "start by selling a blog post!". What does this mean? Do you mean sell access to a one-time blog post/report?
@jondotjames They have a discovery section but your product needs to have been approved, had at least one sale and star rating to be included. This let visitors to the ste find your product via browsing/searching but they take a higher cut in fees if bought from the discovery page (unless they've changed that). Otherwise you have to promote your products yourself. (Gumroad has a Circle community/forum for creators that lets you link your products page in your profile, & has self promotion & affiliates sections )
The website looks an awful lot like Teachable... who they compare themselves to on their pricing page. Nonetheless, great design and rebrand.

In any other case I'd say "it was about time" but Gumroad's brand always felt someone timeless and fitting.

Very interesting product, and I am super surprised that I have yet to come across Gumroad. I'd love to understand how the product and its target customers compares/differ from Shopify, etc.
P.S. the branding, UX, and copywriting on the site is 10/10.
Gumroad has got all my support. It's an awesome company, with an awesome vision and, most importantly, an awesome team! The new design is wonderful, congrats 🎉
The fresh look tips me over to trying Gumroad out. Always hesitated before but now I feel confident in the product and service. It matters.
