GrowthMentor — Grow your startup faster with 1:1 mentorship

Today we're introducing GrowthMentor, a platform designed to connect founders and marketers with experienced mentors. Created by Foti, a former VP of Growth who was seeking mentorship himself, this platform aims to facilitate meaningful exchanges between people that want to grow startups with those that have verifiable track-records doing just that. It's a space where knowledge and experience are shared, with a focus on practical advice and getting things done. GrowthMentor offers a variety of mentors, each with their unique expertise and background, allowing users to find guidance tailored to their specific business challenges. The community-driven ethos of the platform emphasizes empathy and helping because it feels good as opposed to doing it for monetary reasons alone. Incredible people & community. I joined GrowthMentor in 2020 and not only did I get amazing advice to help me grow my businesses, I made some lifelong mentors and friends. Things I've gotten help with: Landing page copy review, growth advice, mindset coaching, learning how to be a better manager and way more. The IRL meetups within this community are ace too - so many good people and great conversations. Really thankful for Foti, Jessica and all the mentors and friends I've made.

That's a really cool idea, I especially like that many mentors keep doing this for free. Is there something like a matching process to automatically show the best mentors for me? (depending on my geography, industry, topic, ...) or do I have to go through all mentors to find a fitting one?

Very cool idea! I think what makes it an excellent idea is the quarterly pricing. Makes you think that the mentorship will bring results as fast as possible. Cool project, congratulations!

I've loved my time using Growth Mentor. It's been pivotal to my mental health and business well-being. I've been able to stretch my business savvy with the help of many mentors. The key has been the ability to vent frustration with people who just get it. They understand what it takes to succeed. I run my own business alone and often times I feel alone. Growth Mentor has helped me greatly overcome the feeling of nihilism, anxiety and loneliness.

I've been on GrowthMentor extensively both as a mentor and mentee for years. I want to say it is the best community of Growth people out there in terms of quality, but it is actually the best even among communities of professionals in general. Never have I witnessed such reliable levels of quality of people who engage with the platform. @fotipanagio put a superhuman effort into getting this all together and it shows!

I have been a (free) mentor on Growth Mentor for the last two years. It is a great way to give back, and it is true what they say. If you teach something to someone else, you learn a lot yourself as well. It is an excellent way for people to receive the advice they seek, as you can filter on mentors with the knowledge you seek. Last month, I booked my first sessions as a mentee and loved the feedback/advice I received. I would definitely recommend checking it out, as it will help you to go faster on your journey and not feel alone, as you have a big pool of mentors a few clicks away. No need to give away equity to advisors with a Growth Mentor membership 😉

I've been a mentor here for years, and have done over 100 mentoring sessions. It's the most legit community I have ever been a part of. Every call gives me energy rather than taking it away. I use it to keep involved in what's happening and what sort of questions and problems up and coming marketers are thinking about.
