Hey Scott. We’ve built GT to be the professional network that better accommodates Gen Z not through age locking at all, but with a simple UI/UX across the feed, people discovery and making it incredibly more relaxed for this generation when it comes to setting up their digital professional profile.
Our team is focusing heavily on product with a bunch of new features we’re planning to roll out soon!

Great question Alex, as you’d expect I get asked that a lot!
We’re not here to reinvent the wheel, full kudos to LinkedIn for really defining the beginning of digital professional networking, but as with any startup/business your branding really matters. LinkedIn has become too formal, adult and unaccommodating for Gen Z. That sucks because Gen Z are the future of the workforce.
What Grouptag is, is the online professional space for Gen Z to network. We’ve identified what LinkedIn has done well for the ‘grown ups’ and we’ve simplified it completely. From sharing something to your network to setting up your digital professional profile and networking within the app.
