Thanks for the hunt @katmanalac Hi everyone! My name is Prateek and I'm the co-founder of GreenTiger. I wanted my mom (who lives in India) to invest in US equities, and as I went about researching what's the best place to open an account for her, it dawned on me that there was no clear or affordable option for us! Most brokerages were outdated, needed you to physically submit paperwork, submit high deposits, and/or charged high commissions. This is what drove me to build a simpler, affordable, and less scary alternative that could make it easier for people like you and me to invest in companies we loved without being inundated by information. Just Joined the waiting list. May be this is an awesome place to buy US equities, But my suggestion is to get a local Bank/RBI or any regulatory brand name on the page. That will increase confidence for the end user/consumer. if you increase the trust factor, 1. You will get high ticket investment 2. More subscribers. You can also be more transparent on how you earn. You know there is no FREE LUNCH in the market. Just FYI. Good Luck Guys

My US friends use RObinhood App for the same thing, I tried but it didn't worked in India. So I tried my hands on Kyte App from Zerodha, but that also doesn't have US Investment Direct option. Thanks for making things easier for many...

When we started hacking together our MVP, we looked at Robinhood and other trading apps out there to figure out how to best design a securities trading application (since neither of us are designers) but are definitely prone to biased lenses. Clearly, we have a lot of work ahead of us and will definitely incorporate your feedback to carve a stronger design for ourselves.
