Miguel here, the guy behind Great Landing Page Copy (formerly known as Nishi).
One of the BIG problems with the Internet in 2022 is consumer indifference.
There are tons of easy to use, No code tools out there...AND building a website has never been easier. The problem is that there are now way too many websites and 98% of them sound exactly the same.
Most of them claim that they are the best in their industry.
OR the cheapest in their category.
OR that they offer the "simplest way" to yada yada something.
OR they're plagued with Me-centric copy (repeating words like "my / me / I" or "we / our").
OR they're so vague and plagued with business jargon that readers can't even understand what the heck the website is trying to sell them.
That's why I created Great Landing Page Copy.
This is a fun side-project with a simple goal: to celebrate and showcase websites that are written for the reader.
Websites that are easy to read, feel relatable and sound like a human, not a robot.
You can use greatlandingpagecopy.com to search for good examples of landing pages by Industry or by writing style.
I hope this is a useful resource and I'll try to keep it updated as regularly as possible. 🙂
I love it! One suggestion - I feel the synopsis is a bit lean and possibly subjective in some cases. I don't know if it is possible to get conversion numbers or some sort of metric so we can make some real assertions as to what makes the copy effective?
@steven_brewis I get your point, thanks for the suggestion Steven. I don't have access to conversion metrics, but these were all picked based on my experience as a copywriter. What I can do is this: I can add a little section to each page with tips explaining why the copy works.
@_miguelferreira It's the simple yet extraordinary helpful products I love here on PH. One humble piece of advice: I would make your CTA more obvious, it gets lost in the mix as soon as I start scrolling.
