Some background: When I began homeschooling my kids ten years ago, I wanted to give them an education that was fun, challenging and encompassed the best of classic and modern knowledge - - great literature, programming, entrepreneurship, meditation, astrophysics, life skills, philosophy etc. I first tried top-tier prepackaged curricula, but they were expensive, often boring and offered little in the way of customization. Online homeschools weren't academically rigorous and required kids to spend too much time in front of a screen. None of them offered the scope of great literature and creative learning experiences I wanted my kids to experience. Great Books Homeschool is the solution I wish I'd had then.
